Situated in north-central Morocco, the region of Chaouia-Ouardigha has a population of more than 1.6 million. The city of Settat is the capital of the region.

Encompassing an area of 7 010 square kilometers, the region of Chaouia-Ouardigha includes the provinces of Settat, Kouribga and Ben Slimane. There are many interesting places to explore in the region, including the Ziada cork oak forest, local markets, renowned casbahs and interesting towns.
