Restaurant Guide / Morocco

Treat your taste buds! Morocco boasts a wide variety of restaurants in and around its cities. Visit back regularly for updated lists on French, Italian, Oriental and of course, Traditional Moroccan Restaurants.

Most Moroccan food has a very distinct and enjoyable taste, although many cafes, hotels and restaurants also sell French food because of the French influence in the country. This means that you can sit back and savor tasty local cuisine or, if you are not inclined towards foreign tastes, you can visit one of the menu restaurants offering western style foods.

It would be wise to exercise caution when choosing restaurants and cafes as most tourists often end up with diarrhea during their travels. This can be due to poor restaurant hygiene or a sensitive stomach. However, this should not stop you from tasting the local food as it often adds a rich and delightful experience to your colorful journey.

Rather avoid drinking water you are unsure about, and try and pick restaurants that seem to offer a good level of service. Remember that the price doesn't necessarily reflect the standard of the food.
