New Resort for Morocco

Morocco is one of the most exotic tourist destinations in the world. Its richness in tradition and culture makes it a preferred choice for international visitors and most who visit Morocco want to experience everything that the country has to offer. Soon, Marrakech will have a new form of accommodation to offer tourists, which incorporates the beauty, uniqueness and magnificence of the country, with style, luxury and relaxation. It has recently been announced that Fairmont Marrakech will be open for business by 2011.

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts have become synonymous with elegance and lavish accommodation over the years, establishing hotels such as the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace and Fairmont Singapore, to name just two of its fifty-six hotels. Their attention to detail and ensuring that each establishment is exclusive and distinctive has made them the leaders in the hospitality industry internationally. Fairmont falls under the group Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, which owns ninety hotels across the globe, and specializes in accommodation, property and professionalism. The opening of the Fairmont Marrakech will not only boost the tourism industry in Morocco but give the country the ability to accommodate specialized travelers.

Being located in Marrakech, the second largest city in Morocco, allows Fairmont Marrakech to offer visitors the convenience of being close to some of the city’s most popular attractions and sites, such as the bustling and vibrant town square, markets, the Koutoubia Mosque, the picturesque desert and the spectacular Atlas Mountains. Another of the attractions that is currently under development is the Marrakech Royal Golf Club, which will be located next to the hotel and lure international golfers to Morocco.

The Fairmont Marrakech will not only be focusing on stylish accommodation, but on relaxation and enjoyment, with a hundred and ninety rooms, exclusive decor, food and beverage outlets, ballroom, banquet hall and lifestyle facilities such as a spa and health club, hammam, ice fountains, lounges and steam rooms. The design and architecture of the building will be uniquely Moroccan and will remain true to the atmosphere and vivaciousness of the country. Good service and professional assistance will ensure that all guests at the Fairmont Marrakech feel welcome, and the project will assist in offering locals much needed employment. Fairmont Marrakech will be more than just a hotel - it will be an experience and an attraction in its own right.
