Set on the coast line of Casablanca is Hassan II Mosque the largest mosque in Morocco and third largest in the world, named after King Hassan II, work started in July 1986 the oringinal completion date was to be the 60th birthday of King Hassan in 1989 but it was finished in 1993 at a cost of around $800 million it can hold 25,000 worshiper with a Minaret height which stands at 210m (689ft)
