A Last Walk Through The Medina of Essaouira, Morocco

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The Medina of Essaouira was one of the best I've ever seen. Not only because of the goods for sale but the shopkeepers are more relaxed, there are no demands for photographs, and no hassles. If you walk into a store, browse and leave without buying, there's still a friendly goodbye and smile. Refreshing. There is the old Jewish Mullah (Quarter), small and narrow streets radiating in all directions, restaurants around squares and on roofs overlooking the city and the Atlantic Ocean. Expect to get lost even with a map. I know we did and that's part of Essaouira's charm.
