There are so many services offered by the Canadian Embassy in Morocco that it is impossible to explain them all here. Simply put, the embassy is able to provide full consular services to all Canadians currently situated in Morocco for what ever reason. This may include the supplying of temporary visas in the case of an emergency and other necessary services. While they provide every basic service that may be needed by a Canadian citizen visiting or living in the country, they also provide a full range of services with regard to the providing of visas and immigration. Many young Moroccans enjoy the prospect of later studying in Canada, where the level of tuition is often considered to be greater than that offered locally. In fact, roughly a thousand students make the journey to Canada to further their education each year! While the majority of Moroccans leaving the country for Canada are students, there are also those who are fortunate enough to travel for business or pleasure. Various visas can be supplied for these individuals and immigration papers can also be organized through the embassy.

Another facet of the embassy is the role it plays in the small but growing trade and investment sectors of Morocco’s economy. Although this role is small at best, it continues to grow each year due to favorable relations and trade conditions. Moreover, the Canadian Embassy in Morocco is able to quickly and effectively settle any dispute relating to trade and investment between the two countries. It is interesting to note that the Canadian Embassy in Morocco also represents many of the interests of Canada in Mauritania. You will find the consular aspect of the embassy at 13 bis rue Jaâfa-as-Sadik, Agdal in Rabat while the visa services are operated from 31 rue Hamza, Agdal. The embassy is open from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 and 17:30 with a daily lunch break between 12:00 and 13:30. On Fridays the office hours run from 8:00 to 13:30.
