A Few More Details/More About the Pool Hall
The height of the Exercise House kitchen and bathrooms are 9 feet high. The exercise room is 10 feet high and the porches are 8 feet high. The games are on the top shelf of the right and left bookcases. They are chess, some board games, dominoes and playing cards. The newspapers are kept on the top of the bookcases.
The swivel attachment is about 2 inches long. There is a ring each end. The top ring fastens to the hook in the corner ceiling and the lower hook can be opened with a clasp that pulls back and opens the ring. The planter hanger fastens to the lower hook. When you release the clasp the lower hook closes. The corner pedestal table is ornate. It is sturdy and octagon shaped(8 sides). The corners of the porch floor and ceilings are diagonal from the outer corner of the exercise room to the outer corner of the porch wall if possible.
On the back porch, there is the recessed areas between the outside cleaning pantry and the outside kitchen stairwell . There are dark brown wood stained boards along the walls of the recessed areas and there are 2 rows of folding chairs between the side walls. The chairs hae brown metal legs and frames and Moroccan red/brown padded seats and backs. There are 33 chairs in each row. The rows go from left to right.
There are 4 more umbrells stands. There are 2 in the Meeting House. There is one each side of the TV Unit in the front sitting room. The umbrella stands are off white ceramic and they are sculptured. They are 2 feet high.There also are 2 umbrells holders in the back left stairwell of the Main Palace. They are the same design as the ones in the Meeting House. The back stairwell has a cabinet for shoes for when the children go to karate lessons. There is one umbrella holder each side of the cabinet,in the Main Palace stairwell.
The bathroom doors in the Meeting House and the Exercise Houare 3 feet wide. They are brown stained wood. They are ornate. They have antique brss doorknobs and hindges. The Closet doors in the basements and the emergency exit doors and the water heater closets are the same design as the bathrooms doors. Also the doors of the stairwell from the porches to the Pool Halls. The doors are all 3 feet wide and ornate. They all have antique brass doorknobs and hindges. The doors in the basements have brown metal frames with attached moldings. The other doors have brown stained wood frames and moldings.
The desk chairs in the Pool Hall are the same style chair as the desk chairs in the boys rooms in the lower level of the Main Mosque Palace.
The chairs in the Meeting Room are brown stain ornate wood chairs.
There is an electric pencil sharpener on the short wave radio desk. The pencil sharpener is battery operated.
The boys can also wrestle if they like. They have the mats in the exercise room. They can do karate and wrestle. They do not have weights in the cabinets outside the cleaning pantry and the kitchen stairwell. Their weights are in the cabinets in the exercise room.
They sell cigarettes, newspapers and candy in the office which is in the restaurant. No gum. You can nohave gum on the Palace grounds.
There are 4 pool tables each Pool Hall. They are Moroccan red/brown wood. The felt tops are maroon felt tops. Under the Pool Tbles there are 9 feet x 12 feet size carpets. They are medium brown/dark maroon and off white flowers with dark green leaves. The carpets have off white fringe on the ends.
The pool hall is 31 feet wide x 40 feet long. The tables are set up longwys 10 feet from the kitchen stairwell end and 8 feet from the other end. There are 6 feet between the tables. The carpets are centered under the Pool Tables. There is a stained glass Pool light above each tables. The lights are 2 1/2 feet long rectangle lights. The fixture is centered above the Pool Tables and the light bulbs are on the top inside. The stainglass shades are red/green/purple. The switch for the lights is on the wall to the left of the lower entrance door from the porch. This is a double switch. The other switch is for the recessed lights. The switches are off white with antique brass metal plate covers.
