  • More About the Long Tunnels

The Statues: There are 2 Islamic Angels at the corners of the 1 feet wide extension areas outside the bathrooms. They are in the corners to the right and left of the Mosque Benches. There are also an Islamic Angel at the bottom corner of the center staircases in the corners opposite the entrance doors.
In the 1st and 3rd staircases there are a Seagog in each of the corners at the base of the staircases in the corners opposite the entrance doors. Inside the 1st and 3rd basements there are a statue of an Iblis against the right and left walls. The Iblis look fierce.
In the center basement there are a dark maroon flower pot to the right and left of the Mosque bench. This basement is 20 feet long and 18 feet deep. The staircase landings only come to 15 feet at the bottom. When you open the entrance doors they angle back. There is an extra 3 feet in the front of the basements. This is where the Mosque Bench and flower pots are located. The flower pots are large.
In each of the basements the water heater closets are 4 feet x 4 feet size. In between the water heater closets there are a 4 feet deep x 8 feet long cabinet. The cabinets are 7 feet high. They have double closets 4 feet wide. Each cabinet has 1 3/4 feet wide double doors. The cabinets have feet and are up off the floor. They are ornate and built in the basements.
There are electrical out lets 6 inches in from each side of the Mosque Benches in the tunnel. They have off white plugs with dark grey metal plate covers. There is another outlet in the Front End Tunnel to the right of the entrance doorway. The outlet is 14 inches up from the floor and the same design as the other outlets.
When you leave the end of the long tunnel the moat wall goes straight 4 feet and right angles to the left. Seven feet along the walk is the 1 foot high step up to the courtyard. The step is natural concrete. Centered across the exit door from the long tunnel is another 3 inch long x 2 inch high rectangle opening at the bottom of the wall. The rectangle openings are so rain water can drain.
The walk from the Front End exit door to the entance door of the long tunnel, the walk is natural pavers like the courtyard. I move the crysanthmums from there to the top of the overpass bridge along wall. The crysanthmums are dark maroon and rust color flowers. There are 7 plants.
The Mosque Benches are brown stain.
The concrete frames around the basement and tunnel frames inside and out are very ornate. There are antique brass engraved plaques at the bottom of each column of windows. They are set on a wood base and attached to the window ledges.
At the top of the center stain glass windows of the tree, there are 3 circle windows like a triangle shape. The lower 2 have flowers and the top center has gold Crscent Moon and Star.
The entrance doors to the basement are rectangle and the tunnel doors are pointed arc doors. The frames are concrete and the doors fit the frames. The doors are dark brown stain wood plank.
The concrete frames of the windows have the 3 feet high concrete block 2 inches wider and 2 inches higher.

    • Finishing Decorating the Long Tunnels

The basement doors are dark brown stained planked wood. The frames are arced concrete blocks. The doors and frames are pointed arcs. The hinges and doorknobs and plates are dark grey metal. The doors lock with the skeleton keys. Mohamed always has skeleton key with him. The entrance/exit doors to the tunnels also are pointed arc doors and concrete frames. The entrance/exit doors have dark grey latch handels. and hinges. The entrance door to the Front End Tunnel from the top of the basement stairs has dark grey hinges and doorknobs and plates. All the basement and tunnel entrance doors lock with a skeleton key.
I decided not to have the flower pots in the center basement of the long tunnel. Instead there is a statue of an Iblis behind each of the center basement doors. There will not be statues of Iblis inside the 1st and 3rd basements.
At the top of the basement stairs in the long tunnels there are arcs. They have concrete block frames. The arcs are pointed arcs.
The basement ceilings are dark brown stain wood planks. The ceilings above the long tunnel staircases are also dark brown stained wood planks.
There is a latern centered above the lower landings of the staircases. The laterns match the wall laterns but they hang from chains. The chains and laterns are dark grey metal with amber colored glass and clear candlelabra light bulbs. The tunnel switches also control the laterns in the staircases.
In the basements there are 2 wall fixture laterns on the front wall. The laterns are 1 foot in from each end of the Mosque Benches. The laterns are the same design as the tunnel laterns. The switch is located on the wall to the right of the first entrance doors for the 3rd and center basements and to the left of the first basement entrance doors. The switches are off white with dark grey metal cover plates.
There are antique brass plaques at the bottom of the stain glass windows. The plaques the plants and animals in the stain glass pictures. The antique brass plaques are set on dark brown wood stain plaques.
This is the design of the long tunnels and the 3 basements.
      Next time the long catwalks.

      • The Long Cat Walks

There are a few changes first. Instead of the statues of the Muslim women in the back of the Mosque room there will be statues of 2 Muslim Saints.
i decided that the statues of the Iblis should be in the 1st and 3rd basements. The Iblis are against the front wall to the left and right of the Mosque Benches. The doors to the water heater closets are dark brown stained wood plank doors. the doors are pointed arc. The concrete block frames are also pointed arcs.
The cabinets in between the water heater closets are 8 feet long x 7 feet high x 1 1/2 feet deep. The cabinets are divided into two 4 feet wide sections. The cabinets have double 1 3/4 feet wide doors. There are two 1 3/4 feet wide drawers at the bottom of the cabinets. The drawer pulls, knobs and hinges are antique brass.
The tunnel and basement doors have dark brown shiny metal handels, doorknobs and hinges. The electrial plate covers are dark brown metal. Also the wall laterns are dark brown metal and also the hanging laterns are dark brown metal. The latern's glass are light red with clear candelabra light bulbs.
The Long Cat Walks. If you start at the end nearest the Main Palace you are by the first section. You go up the stone staircase and at the top, the Cat Walk starts. Here the cat walk is 4 feet wide. The cat walk floor has dark brown planks from the inside wall to the outer walls.
You walk along and you are outside the first 2 bedrooms. The wall outside the bedrooms are 4 feet high. Next you are outside the bathroom which has a higher inside wall and the Chinese roof. This is where the round dark maroon stained glass window is up higher so you can see it over the outer wall. Along the wall outside the bathroom the cat walk extends out another foot . this means the cat walk is 5 feet wide along the bathroom. Next the cat walk is 4 feet wide again and goes along the second 2 bedrooms of the 1st section. Four feet from the center section the cat walk turns to the left and extends 10 feet plus the width of the cat walk. At the end of the 10 foot wall the cat walk turns to the right and follows the outer wall of the 1st bedroom. Now we come outside the center bathroom where the cat walk is extended out 1 foot. This makes the cat walk 5 feet wide along here. Again the wall is higher and there is the center round dark maroon stain glass window above the outer wall. There also is another Chinese roof above the bathroom. Next the cat walk returns to 4 feet wide along the 2nd center bedroom. At the end of the outer bedroom wall the cat walk turns to the right and goes in 10 feet where the cat walk turns to the left. Now we are ar the 1st beroom of the 3rd section. We walk along the 1st two bedrooms which is 4 feet wide and then we come to the third bathroom where the cat walk is again 5 feet wide. This is the third bathroom outer wall. The insiide wall is higher here, there is another dark marroon stain glass window above the outer wall. There is the third chinese roof. At the end of the bathroom the cat walk goes back to 4 feet wide along the end 2 bedrooms to the end of the long cat walk. At the end you turn right and go down the stone stairs to the courtyard between the Front End rooms and the exit cooridor ofthe 3 rd section.
The cat walk has pipes 2 feet befor and after the tunnel stain glass windows. The pipes are screwed to the cat walk floor and drains rain water. The pipes have an inch edge where they are screwed to the decking of the catwalk. The pipes cuve underneath in the tunnel and go out the grey stone brick wall 5 inches out. The water pipes drain into the moat. The pipes are dark brown shiny metal. They are about 1/4 inch thick.
The round dark maroon stain glass windows may be octagon design. I am not sure. I think they are octagon.
The outer walls of the cat walks are 3 feet high rectangle zig/zag design.
The Front End cat walks also have drain pipes along the wood cat walk and they are extended out 1 foot x 5 feet above each of the stain glass windows.
There may be medium size dark brown porcelin flower pot in each corner of the extended sections. If so there would be colorful flowers in the pots.
        Next time, the Moat.

        • The Fortress Corridor Roofs/Some Details

I decdied that there should be carpets in the basement bedrooms. They match the upper walls of the rooms. Also the basement side rooms should have the same size carpets as the TV sitting rooms above. The Side room carpets also match the upper walls.
Along the long catwalks when you come to the turn of the center sections the side walls are 4 feet high an the upper part is peaked to the roof. The walls are grey brick stone. The grey bricks of the Fortress have silver specks in the bricks. The side wall of the other side of the center sections are the same design. 4 feet up and then peaked to the roof above.
There is one large dark brown flower pot at the curved corner of the catwalk of the Front End. The flower pots have colorful flowers in them. There are no other flower pots along the Front End Cat Walk.
In the Mosque Room there will not be any statues. Just the Muhjahadeen statues in the entrance area. There is one Muhjahadeen statue each side of the entrance doors.
In the Mosque Room instead there will be a round white marble table in fron of the stucoo rectangle triangle panel by the back wall. The panel edges are brick. the stucco rectangle triangle center are white stucco. On top of the white marble table there is a dark maroon round table cloth. The edges are dark maroon marrow edges. The table cloth hangs over the table 6 inches around. Ontop of the table there is an antique brass candle holder base. The 8 inch diameter white vanilla candle sets in the base. A dark maroon glass cover fits over the candle into the base. The glass cover curves in at the bottom and then back out along the center area and then it curves back in and then back out.
To the right and left of the table there are medium size white porcelin flower pots. The flower pots have large Chinese Evergreen plants in them
The Fortress corridor roofa. Starting at the 1st sections of the Fotress the roofs start under the overhang of the main roofs. The beginning roofs are 7 feet wide plus 6 inch overhang. When you reach the roof in front of the bathrooms the corridor roofs are 6 feet wide. Then for the next 2 bedrooms the roofs are again 7 feet wide. There are 6 inch overhangs along the outer edges of the roofs. At the middle center sections which are recessed., the corridor oofs are 9 feet wide plus the overhang and along the center bathroom the corridor roofs are 6 feet wide. with overhang. Then the second section goes back to 9 feet wide plus the overhang. The side of the 1st and 3rd sections peak up along the center section roofs. The side walls are grey stone brick peaked up to the roof tops.
The third sections are the same design as the 1st sections. They are 7 feet wide plus overhang, then 6 feet wide in front of the bathroom and then back to 7 feet wide corridor roof outside the last 2 bedrooms.
The entire corridor of the Front End Rooms are 7 feet wide. This includes the corridor roofs outside the laundry rooms.
The roofs start under the 6 inch wide main roofs overhang. The bathrooms do not have overhangs because the upper walls are higher to the roofs.
Next time I really will describe the Moat.

          • The Seagogs/The Moat

Seagogs guard the prisoners in the Infernos. They have white skin and hair and red eyes. They wear black pants that have elestic around the ankles and waist. They also wear white satin shirts open at the neck and they have ornate gold chains. They wear a black cloak with hoods. They have cat a nine tails to keep the prisoners in line.
There will not be paintings in the Mosque room above the tables by the brick partition walls.
The corridor overhangs will be 1 foot wide. They have a 3 inch dark brown stained board along the outer edge of the overhang. Underneath the overhang are planked boards from the building walls to the outer boards. These boards are also dark brown stained.
The moat: The moat is 8 feet wide. Near the end of the right and left wall when you come out of the back of the main Palace, the moat walls are near the beginning of the Fortress buildings. The wall turns to the left runs along the moat and the walk that takes you to the entrance of the long tunnels. The otherside of the courtyard is opposite. The moat wall turns at the end of the walk and runs along the outside of the 1st section of the Fortress, The moat walls are 3 feet high. This means they come up 3 feet outside of the tunnel walls. The inside maot wall goes along the outside of the tunnel where the 1st two bedrooms are located, Then the walls come out 1 foot along the outside walls of the bathroom and then back in 1 foot. Now the moat wall goes along the second 2 bedroom walls. Actually oustside the tunnel walls which run along the bedrooms and bathrooms. At this point the moat wall turns to the left along the outer wall of the second center section. This is the bedrooms. the staircase to the basements, out 1 foot along the outer bathroom wall, back in along the second bedroom wall and then turns to the right and goes back in 10 feet to the 3rd section. Along here the outer tunnel wall is across from the 1st two bedrooms, the staircase to the basement, out 1 foot along the outer wall across from the bathroom back in 1 foot turning to the left along the wall across from the last 2 bedrooms. Each of the walls across from the bathrooms have a basement staircase on either side.
At the end of the 3 rd section the tunnel wall ends by the stone staircase up to the above. Here the moat wall continues between the entrance doors of the long tunnels and the entrance doors of the Front End Tunnels. The walls are across from the Front End bedroom, out 1 foot around the window, back in, around the curved corner outer wall around the corner along the other side of the Front End bedroom, out 1 foot around the window continuing along the wall outside the Front end bathroom, around the outer stained glass window 1 foot continuing along the outer wall along the laundry rooms to the moat bridge which extends outside the arced gates and comes from the courtyard across the moat to the road which cuts across. The inner moat walls stop at the moat bridges and turn outward where they are the sides of the bridge to the outer walls of the moat. There are walls along both sides of the moat bridge.
The other side of the fortress follows the moat wall the same but opposite.
At the beginning of the moat by the right and left walls There are pipes which go through the walls and across the courtyard under graound so the water of the moat can circulate and not be stagnant..
This is a rdescription of the inner sides of the moat wall which follows along the tunnels.
Next time more about the moat and the outer walls.

            • Describing the Moat

First I like to make it clear that before and after the outer walls across from the bathroomsof the 1st, center and 3rd sections. Before are the 4 feet long walls across from the stone stairs to the basements. These sections have dark maroon arced windows 3 feet wide x 5 feet high.
The moat starts at the courtyard wall which is some diagonal. The moat water is 8 feet across. Where the walls come out 1 foot, the water is 7 feet across from the outer wall to the walls along the buildings. The 8 feet width is the same. The water goes from the outer wall to the moat walls by the buildings.
The moat turns at the beginning and runs along the 1st section, then out from the center sections back in and turns along the 3rd sections. The water continues along the Front End Sections around the curved corner and along the front walls to the moat bridges. The water goes under the moat bridge and continues along the Front End walls of the right side of the Fortress around the curved corner along the 3rd section to the center section which goes out, Around the center section to the right side 1st section to the end and around the corner to the courtyard wall. The pipes go through the courtyard walls underneath and across the courtyard under ground. The pipes are below the water surface. The water can circulate around the moat.
The outer moat walls are 3 feet high and they curve at the corners. The moat walls are made of grey stone bricks. The bricks have silver glitter in them. The bottom of the moat is concrete and then covered with dirt or sand. There are goldfish and fish that eat mosiquitos or their eggs in the moat. There are lilypad plants in the moat.
There are fountains in the moat. There are a fountain each corner of the outer walls across from the bathrooms. That makes six fountains. There are a fountain each corner of the moat. Thats one at the beginning corner and one at the curved corner. And there are a fountain centered outside the laudry room walls.
I do not know how deep the moat is. A professional would have to design the moat and the fountain system.
This is the Mosque Palace and the Fortress. I designed it better than I use to pretend. I use to pretend and then I would forget and have to design again. This is better. Next time I wll design outside the Palace. Also when I can I will design the outer buildings.
I am happy to share this story. Before I never told anyone about the Arab, the Palace or the children.
I am a day late but I like to wish everyone "Happy Thanksgiving".

              • Finishing the Moat/Area Outside the Fortress

The moat walls are 3 feet along the Tunnel walls. They come up 3 feet along the lower part of the Tunnel walls. The moat walls have a concrete ledge along the top. The ledge slopes from the tunnel wall sloping down to the top edge of the moat wall. If the stained glass windows come down lower than the 3 feet , the moat walls are lower under the windows. Under the windows also have the sloped concrete ledge.
The dark maroon windows across from the basement stone stairs are 1 1/2 feet wide x 3 feet high. They also have concrete block frames.
The fountains in the moat are concrete fountains. They are Chinese pagoda fountains. They spew water from the moat from under the roof on each side of the fountain. This keeps the water moving which discourages mosquitos.
At the side of the courtyard wall there is a gate. The gate is brown stained wood. It locks from the inside with a padlock. The hinges and lock hinge are black iron brass. All the gates have black iron hinges and latches. The gate opens out to the side yard. Inside the gate there are 4 feet wide stone steps that go down to the moat. At the bottom of the steps there is a row boat which is tied to a black iron eye hook which is into the courtyard wall of the moat. At the gate above, the gate is right angle with the diagonal wall. After the gate the side wall continues along the end of the moat. The distance from the courtyard wall to the front outer wall is 27 feet wide. This is where the moat turns and runs along the 1st section. At 14 feet along the end wall there is another Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree. The tree is back from the wall about 5 feet and is planted on each of the side yards. The trees will grow and hang over the moat walls.
The boat is in case needed if someone falls in. Also to attend to the fountains.
I decdied that there will not be a stain glass window in the bedrooms of the 1st section where the twin bedrooms are located. These bedrooms have a single bed each side of the bedrooms.
Next time the area around the Fortress.

                • The Moat Stairs/Area Around the Fortress

I like to describe the Moat stairs better. When you come out of the back of the Main Palace, you go to the left or right to the grey stone brick wall to the gate. The gates are dark brown stained wood gates. The hinges and bolt latch are antique brass. After you go through the gate you turn to the right and go to the gate which opens to the moat stairs. The gate has a lock on the inside. The lock is a hinge with a slot in it and it goes over a metal loop. The pad lock which is also antique brass goes through the loop and locks shut. The wall gates are 3 feet wide and the gate to the stairs is 2 1/2 feet wide.
You open the gate and you go in. You are on a platfrom at the top of the steps. The platform is 3 feet x 3 feet size. The top edge is diagonal some. The moat wall is straight here and is across from the straight wall on the other side of the moat.
The steps go down to the left along the side of the moat wall. The steps actually go below the water to the bottom of the moat. The stairs have a dark brown stained wood rail along the top of the platform and down along the steps to the water. The row boat is tied to the bottom post of the steps. The row boat is dark brown stain and they are called Dinghy. The boats get checked for water after Rain so there will not be any mosquitos.
The pipes which go under the courtyard have an antique brass grate in front of the pipe hole in the wall. The pipe has a rim around the hole and the grates are screwed onto the end of the pipes.
I changed the fountains. There are 5 fountains each side of the moat. One at each end at the corners. One centered in front of the laundry room stain glass windows to the right and left of the moat bridge at the front of the Fortress. There also are fountain in front of the dark maroon stain glass windows of the center side sections. These fountains are Chinese designs. The end and side ones are Chinese pagodas and the front two are dragons.
There are also fountains in front of the dark maroon stain glass windows of 1st and 3rd sections. They are just pipes that spray up water. Mohamed can design the fountains.
They have amusement parks that have water rides and they have a way to keep the water moving fast so I know these things can be done.

Outside the Fortress along the long moat section and the front there is 6 feet of dirt or sand and then there is a concrete curb. There is a paver road that runs around the Fortress next to the curbs and there are another curb on the other side of the road.
In the 6 feet wide sand area there are colorful flowers planted along the moat wall. They may be Impatiens. They are colorful.
The sand/dirt walk , curb and road turns at the front corner of the moat and continues to the moat bridge where the curb turns and meets the bridge wall.
May be after a time. there will be a cement block walk around the Fortress. The blocks are 8 inches x 16 inches size. You lay 2 blocks longway and 2 blocks side ways. Then you alter the next row and continue alternating patters, The blocks are cement blocks. The path would be 32 inches wide. For now we can leave path sand/dirt.
At the front of the moat bridge the raod continues across. Across the road there is another grey stone wall that goes slong the front of the Fortress. There is a cement sidewalk along this side of the moat and a curb.
There is no water pump in the Main Palace basement. There are no water pumps anywhere in the Palace of Fortress. Instead there will be Water Station Houses with pumps that send the water to the Palace and Fortress.
Next time more about outside the Palace and Fortress.

                  • Some Changes/The Keys

Before I continue describing the area around the Fortress, there are some changes.
The solar panels will not be on the roofs of the wing rooms. They will be some where else around the Palace and Fortress.
The only heavy machinery in the Palace will be the elevator and the water heaters. This means that the only thing at this time in the basement side rooms is the carpets. The side rooms are under the TV Sitting rooms in the lower level above. The basement side rooms are the same size as the TV Sitting rooms. That is 17 feet wide x 25 feet long(I think that is right) The basement walls I do not remember. They may be beige. What ever color they are the carpets match the walls. They may be dark maroon/off white/ beige/ black design. Those will be the colors if they match the walls. The carpets are the same size as the carpets in the TV Sitting rooms above.
(Any machinery for the solar electric will be outside the Palace. Probably a large generator.)
I think I said the hot water heaters for the basement kitchen are located in the right and left areas under the Emergency Exit Corridors above. Probably the second areas under the emergency Exit Corridors.
Originally I explained that the children could roller skate around the basement corridors. The skating equipment is kept in the cabinet in the large right side stairwell. I already explained their equipment.
The children's tricycles will be kept on the porch at the back of the exercise house and there will be a cabinet with the bike helmets and equipment. This will be explained better another time. I already described the bikes and the helmets and equipment.
The younger children can skate in the corridors and the side rooms. They also can play in the side rooms. If we like to fix the side rooms up at a later time, we can.
This is short but I would rather go back to describing the area around the Fortress tomorrow.
The keys. Mohamed has skeleton key which locks and unlocks the wing bedrooms, the alcove and stairwell doors. Also the tunnel and basement doors. There is a regular key for the front entrance doors, the wing sitting room doors. Another key for the curved entrance doors at the entrance area of the wings. Mohamed also has the key for the entrance/exit doors to the Fortress corridors.
He has the entrance keys to the exercise houses and the Meeting House. And he also has one key for the 3 Pool Houses.
The front desk where you check in has the keys for the Fortress rooms. Each key has a key chain with a plastic tab with the room numbers. Each room has it's own key. They are all different. The front desk also has the smaller skeleton key for the bottom dresser drawers whis where the extra sheets are kept. I think this means there will not be so many different keys.

                    • Finishing the Basement

I made some changes. The upper walls of the basement bedrooms are dark green wallpaper. The carpets are Moroccan red/brown/dark green/off white/black.
The side rooms are under the TV Sitting rooms. The walls are Moroccan red/brown. The carpets are dark maroon/off white/Moroccan red/brown/black. There are no windows in the side rooms. The entrance archways do not have doors.
The boys do not get to use the closets in the basement bedrooms. They have their closets in their rooms on the lower level above. Their rooms are on the lower level.
There is a storage corridor each side of the side rooms. You have to go through the stairwells to get to the storage corridors. They are under the Emergency Exit corridors above. In the storage corridors the colorful enamel cabinets are located at the back wall of the corridor. These cabinets are where the extra light bulbs are stored. Each of the 4 storage corridors have these cabinets.
At the front wall of the storage corridors there are brown stined wood cabinets. All brown wood and dark brown stained wood babinets are varnished with low lustre varnish.
The brown stained cabinets are 5 feet wide. They are divided into 2 sections which are 2 1/2 feet wide. The doors to the cabinets are 2 1/4 feet wide. In the first storage corridor the cabinets have two 2 /14 feet wide drawers at the bottom of the cabinets.
In the right side of the cabinet is stored the vacumn cleaners. There also is a wood handel dust brush hanging from a hook at the top left corner of this side of the cabinet. The brush has a cord through the handle and hangs from a hook. The vacumn bags are stored on the top shelf above the vacumn cleaner. Both sides of the cabinet have top shelf.
In the left side of the cabinet, there is a carpet sweeper, dust mop and a round natural bristle paint brush 2 inch diameter. The paint brush hangs by a cord from a hook between the carpet sweeper and the dust mop.
In the sstorage corridor the hot water heater is located in the left side of the cabinet. All water heaters are light brown metal with dark brown metal top. The hot and cold supply pipes are copper. The shut off valves are antique brass with dark brown turn knob for shutting off the water. The right side of this cabinet has 5 shelves for storage.
This is from the right side of the Palace basement. The right side is when you come down the back stairs and go to the right side. The other side of the Palace basement is mirror design of the right side.
These water heaters supply water to the basement kitchen and the lower level kitchen which is upstairs. The water heater also supplies water to the bathroom in the CAFE.
This finishes designing the Mosque Palace and the Fortress Hotel.
Monday I will continue describing the area around the Fortress. We will stay outside for awhile.

                      • The Area Around the Moat and Fortress

When you come out of the Main Palace and go to the left through the side gate there is a cement block path 40 inches wide. The cement blocks are natueal concrete. The blocks are 2 sideways next to 2 longways and 1 more longway block along the left side of the walk. To the left is the curved wall of the wing. the wing is where the bedrooms are located. There is a curved exit door. Outside the curved exit door there is a cement patio. The patio is small. It curves around the the curved door. The outer part of the patio is rectangle. From the rectangle side there is a 32 inch path of cement blocks that goes out and meets with the 40 inch path.
The 40 inch path goes from the gate straight along the outside wall of the wings. There is 6 feet of dirt/sand betweeen the path and the outer wall of the building. There are some plants along this 6 feet section of dirt/sand. There are gourd plants and squash plants between the out wall of the building anfd the 40 inch path. The outer wall of the wing, the path and the side wall of the moat run straight and are parellel with each other.
The moat wall is about 27 feet long. The outside wing wall is much longer. There is a 10 feet wide road around the Palace and Fortress. The road is made of natural pavers. The road goes around the wing with 6 feet between the road and the wing building. When the road turns toward the side yard and comes to where the front of the moat is, the road curves around and continues along the outside wall of the moat. There also is 6 feet sand dirt along the front outer wall of the moat. The paths will be set at a later time. Along the moat wall there are hosta plants and lemon day lillies.. Hostas come back every year. They have green and whit e striped leaves. They have green stems with delicate lavender flowers. The lemon day lillies are bright yellow. They come back every year also. The plants increase and spread. The lemon lillies are taller and the leaves are like tall grass. The lemon lillies are planed across the dark maroon stain glass windows in the tunnels. The hostas are in between.
I decided we should not have curbs. There is the road, 1 foot of dirt/sand, the 32 inch path, 1 more foot and then the flowers along the maot walls.
The other side of the Fortress, the design is mirror design.
There is more grass between the side 40 inch path and the moat wall. The wall when you come out of the Main Palace is angled outward and may be longer than we think before the buildings start.
At the very front of the Fortress courtyard you go under the overpass bridge which has pavers continued, outside onto the moat bridge. The road turns at the corner of the moat bridge and continues along the front 6 feet out from the road to the outside wall of the moat. The flowers and path continues along here to where the road turns to cross the moat bridge and take you into the courtyard. No cars or trucks go into the courtyard. Only vehicles are the golf carts.
The 10 feet road goes along the front of the Fortress. Across the road there is a curb 6 feet out from the wall. The dirt/sand i6 feet wide. The same hostas an daylilies are along the wall. The path is 32 inches. There are 2 openings in the wall across the road. There are path through the openings that take you to the smoking area and on to the Meeting House which is centered with the entrance to the Fortress courtyard. More about the Meeting House when we design it. The openings in the wall are 20 feet apart.
On the other side of the wall is the smoking area. There is a tree 10 feet over from the openings in the wall. The trees may be orange trees. You can see the Meeting House in between the trees.
The smoking areas have a round wood picnic table with curved benches. There is a straight wood bench centered past the picnic table and there are metal large cigareet ash holder. they are about 2 feet high with a hole in the top and a larger oval base which holes sand. The holder is metal. They are dark brown metal. You can drop the cigareet into the hole and they fall down to the sand in the oval base.

                          • Some of the Roads/The Front of the Fortress Walls

The paver road goes along the outside of the moat walls. The road is 6 feet from the walls. It goes to the front and around the corner along the front of the moat across the moat bridge. It is also 6 feet from the walls along the front.
Across from the moat bridge there is the 20 feet long grey stone brick wall. There are 3 feet opening in the wall either side. On the other side of the openings there are a 17 feet long wall each side. There are dark maroon day lillies either side of the openings and the ends of the 17 feet long walls. In between there are hostas. The area between the road and the walls is 6 feet. There is a 32 inch cement block path along the walls. The path is 1 foot from the road.
When you turn the corner along the road you go along the front of the moat until you turn toward the back of the property. The turn is before the end of the 17 feet long walls. When you turn the roads continue toward the back. They pass the Meeting House along the way.
At the back of the property behind the Meeting House about 10 feet is the road that goes from the right side wall to the left side wall. It runs all along the back. On the other side of the road there is a fence. There are grey stone columns every ten feet. The columns have wood rails in between and there are grape vines on the wood rail fences. There are grape vines both side of the fence.
At the ends of the fence there is an opening for the golf carts to drive through to the restaraunt parking lot. The restaurant parking lot is paved black top. There are curbs around the parking lot. The curbs are grey stone bricks cemented together.
When you go through the opening in the fence from the parking lot the roads go straight until you reach the opening in the side walls which is recessed out to the left and right. Eventually there would be a large house either side. More about the houses another time. The road goes as far as the end of the houses.
These are the roads at the back of the Fortress.
We will not have curbs back here.
On the other side of the walls across from the moat bridge there are sloped rock gardens along the walls. There are lemon yellow day lillies each side of the openings. The lillies shabove the walls. There are some Peruvian lillies stagered along the top sections of the rock gardens. There are large rocks in the garden. At the base of the gardens there are grey stone bricks. The garden can have different kinds of smaller flowers .
There are dark maroon day lilies along the side moat walls These walls are the wall where the gate to the moat steps is located. There is area to the right and left of the path that comes out of the Palace wing from the curved doors. Iris are planted here. The Iris can be purple, light or dark. They can be white or dark maroon and yellow. There can be taller Iris in the back ground and shorter Iris in the front. Iris and daylillies and hostas have nice leaves that stay after the flowers have bloomed.
                            Next time the front.

                            • The Front of the Mosque Palace

The front of the Palace is straight. There are a sidewalk, three low steps up and a platform in front of the entrance doors. There are 3 sets of double entrance doors. They are 3 feet wide each.
To the left and the right the outside walls with the stained glass windows gradually angle back to the right and the left. The windows are medium bright blue/gold/off white Moroccan motif design. All of the windows are the same design. Inside the Mosque room, the stain glass windows along the right and left walk thru sides, those windows are dark maroon/gold/off white Moroccan motif design. The windows along the walk thru are the same.
OUtside along the very front there is a wall. The section in front of the MosquePalace is high. The walls may be medium brown stucco or grey stone brick. Mohamed would design the walls. To the left and right of the high section the walls are 3 feet high. They are grey stone brick. Inside the front courtyard are 18 inch square natural color cement blocks to make up the courtyard. The area along the front of the Palace is diagonal back gradually so the blocks along there must be triangle to fit the courtyard. The blocks go to the end of the curved wall between the stain glass window wall and the beginning of the outside wing wall. At the outside wing wall which would be at the beginning of the first bedrooms, this is where the 10 feet wide road starts and goes around the Palace and Fortress to the other side. There is cement sidewalk along the diagonal section and outside of the curved wall.
The minerets are centered in front of the stained glass walls. Mohamed design them. Along the stained glass walls outside are different color rose bushes.
In the front there is sand/dirt land to the right and left of the cement block front courtyard. The courtyard only goes to the first wing room. The blocks go straight from the front to the beginning of the wings.
This is where the front walls are 3 feet high. Along the front wall here there are Yucca plants which have green sword like leaves and when they bloom they have tall stem with off white bell shaped flowers on the stems. The Yuccas along the 3 feet wall are alternate with Rasberry bushes. The san/dirt area is 35 feet from front to the 10 feet paver road and quite long. The grey stone side walls are as wide as 50 feet to the right or left of the road that runs along the ends of the wing. The ends of the wings are where the basement stairs are located.
The area along the front of the wing has 6 feet of dirt/sand, the 40 inch cement block path and 1 foot between the path and the road. Along the back of the wing the dirt/sand between the outer walls and the path is 5 feet wide, the path is 32 inches along the back and 1 foot between the path and the road.
In the sand/dirt sections in the front of the Mosque Palace there are planted cantloupes in the section near the side walls and strawberries in the section nearer the courtyard.
There is a cement curb along the front of the Palace, the section diagonal back and along the curved section.
The curb slants down where the paver road begins.
The side walls are grey stone bricks unless Mohamed has a design he likes better.
The Mosque Palace and Fortress is reagigantic and the property is hugh. There amy be a horse farm to the right on the other side of the wall. The farm is to the left on the other side of the wall. The solar panels are located along the other side of the side walls.
I decdied that the Iris plants should be planted along the back of the wings. Iris have lighter green flat sword like leaves. They can be planted befors and after the basement stairwell and the entended wing bathroom. Iris also increase and spread out. They are tubers.
In the dirt/sand outside the wing bathroom there can be pinks. They are plants also. They grow low and bloom early in the spring. They have pink, purple or white flowers. After they bloom the leaves are low like grass. Maybe there is little rock garden there.
Next time more about the side areas.

                              • The Outside Area Around the Wings

The area along the front of the outside of the wings there are more plants. First there are Yellow Squash plants. Next there is a section of Eggplants. And finally there are zucchini plants. The plants have beautiful flowers so they would look very nice.
At the ends of the wings, the corner is diagonal. The cement block path and the road follow around diagonal also. The front garden section goes to the end point of the diagonal road. That is the end of where the cantaloupes are planted.
Between the road at the back of the wing and the side wall, there are orange trees stagered. Along the side wall there are blueberry bushes.
I decided that there are the shorter Iris plants between the outside wall of the wing bathroom and the cement block path. The taller Iris are planted along the back of the wing before the basement stairwell and also on the other side of the bathroom extension past the air conditioner.
When you get to the next diagonsl turn, at the beginning of the turn the orange trees and the blueberry bushes end.
The next section goes from the diagonal turn and Fortress side of the wing to the moat . In this area there are pumpkin plants.
When you come out of the curved doorway between the side of the wing on the Fortress side along the path there is some sand/dirt each side of the path. The airconditioner for the Mosque Palace is located in this section. In the area either side there is planted the low growing mountain pinks. After the small flowers bloom, the leaves are low growing ground cover. They should fill in the area.
I decided that the edge around the rock garden on the other side of the wall across from the moat bridge. The rock garden should be surrounded by treated wood landscape ties. They are two ties. One on top of the other around the rock garden. The wood ties are stagered. Instead of orange trees on either side of the paths on the way to the Meeting House. The trees should be palm trees. I saw a kind that has a rounded bottom of the plant with the palms growing out from the top. I think they are lower growing kind of palm.
When you go through the openings in the walls to get to the Meeting House there are 3 stone steps down. The land on the other side of the wall slopes downward. On the other side of the smoking area there are 3 more steps going back up. There is a 1 1/2 feet stone wall to the left and the right sides of the smoking area.
Thre is a pool house on the right side of the Fortress and another one on the left side of the Fortress. The pool houses are located across the road from the first section of the Fortress. They are centered across from the first section bathroom. The pool houses are diagonal toward the center field. The center fiels is across from the center section of the Fortress. The field is between the pool house and the exercise house which is diagonal toward the center. The pool house and exercise house are diagonal slightly. The field is in between. In the future the large house each side would be centered is the recessed area of the side walls. Also centered with the field. Thoe road goes to the front end of the large houses in the recessed section. There are a few lemon trees on the field sie of the road along the front of the houses.
When the boys get older and arecan have their own private room in the house when they are at the Palace. More about this at another time.
The design of the road is complete. And some of the gardens. More about the field next time.
