Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca, Morocco - 27th July, 2010 [03:33]
This video features views around the outside of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. The Hassan II Mosque (Arabic: مسجد الحسن الثاني), located in Casablanca is the largest mosque in Morocco and the third largest mosque in the world after the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) of Mecca and the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque) in Medina. Designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau and built by Bouygues. It stands on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic, which can be seen through a gigantic glass floor with room for 25000 worshippers. A further 80000 can be accommodated in the mosque's adjoining grounds for a total of 105000 worshippers present at any given time at the Hassan II mosque. Its minaret is the world's tallest at 210 m (689 ft).

Views from the Rock of Gibraltar - 28th July, 2010 [04:08]
Views from the rock of Gibraltar, featuring the North African (Morocco) coastline and the Bay of Gibraltar (also known as Gibraltar Bay or Bay of Algeciras or Algeciras Bay, direct translation of Spanish Bahía de Algeciras, the usual name in Spain) is a bay at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula. It is around 10 km (6.2 mi) long by 8 km (5.0 mi) wide, covering an area of some 75 km2 (29 sq mi), with a depth of up to 400 m (1300 ft) in the centre of the bay. It opens to the south into the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea. Views are also looking East along the Costa Del Sol and the Mediterranean Sea.

2009 Gnaoua Music Festival: Essaouira, Morocco [01:59]
This was my favorite act of the festival: Maleem Mahmoud Guinea, Afoxe Loni and Stephane Belmondo. AMAZING African song and dance...This particular stage is on a peninsula, so that;s the sea both behind and in front of the stage, and a view of the citadel can be seen as well. The gentleman in red who dances briefly at the end has on a fez (one of those traditional African hats with a tassle) and the entire band keeps those swinging as they play their instruments- though you cant really make it out in the video. Its almost hypnotic!
