Day 4 of our Florida holiday. We started of with some shopping at prime outlets then on to Morocco in Epcot of some dinner and belly dancing.

From there we carry on to Merzouga via middle atlas and Errachidia crossing the Ziz valley and its palm grove to end up in the ancient town of Erfoud. A day trip to Erg Chebbi culminating in Merzouga's top dunes , camping under the star lit sky is a must. Heading back to Tinrhir via Goulmim, Ait hanni , Tadighoust to finally drive across the magic Todrha gorges is inevitably imposed if you seek for real adventure to finally spend the following night in Dades . Another great day through sinuous mountains, gorges and orchards in the oriental high atlas via Msemrir and Tamtetoucht before we reach I milchil closes up a tremendous day of amazing encounters! From there we head back to the one thousands casbah routes parallel to djebel Sarhro , iuarzazate, agdez, Zagora all the way including Draa valley. We cross the barren landscapes of Foum Zguid to Taznakht and back to AiT ben Haddou kasbah to finally climb up to Tichka pass down to Marrakech ...souks, sites and shows await for you .

Chapter 232 of Paul Hodge's October, 2012 video book "How to Go Solo Around the World in 47 Days" is part of a series chronicling Paul's June 10 & June 11, 2012 30+ hour, 1000+ mile extreme roundtrip adventure from Madrid across the Strait of Gibraltar to Ceuta, one of the northern most points on the African continent. Beginning on Sunday, June 10. 2012, Paul took a 8:35 am RENFE train ride from Madrid to Algeciras, Spain. The train made five stops, took 5 + hours and covered 400+ miles. From Algeciras, Paul then took a 17 mile, 1.5+ hour high speed ferry ride from Algeciras across the Strait of Gibraltar to Ceuta, a Spanish enclave on the northern coast of Africa and bordering on the west with Morocco. After reaching Ceuta, Paul briefly disembarked and then returned to Algeciras on the ferry he came over on. From there, he took a 1+ hour, 18+ mile public bus ride to the Gibraltar border. Paul then walked across the border and took a taxi to his hotel in downtown Gibraltar, arriving about 6:30 pm. After staying the night in Gibraltar, on Monday, June 11, 2012, starting at about 7:00 am, Paul returned to Madrid by train from Algeciras, arriving in Madrid about 1:30 pm. Paul then took a Madrid metro to to his hotel, thus concluding his 30+ hour, 1000+ mile extreme adventure at his Madrid hotel at about 2:30 pm.
