Moroccan youth protest unemployment [01:38]
Protesters, most of whom were graduates, rallied on the streets of the Moroccan capital of Rabat on Thursday carrying banners to express their frustration with unemployment and request the government to address the job deficit. "There is no desire or will to change the situation. If there was a will, we would not be here. Why should we be blamed because we managed to study and have high diplomas? Why should our faith be thrown in the streets?" argued an unemployed graduate, Idriss el Ouali Alami. On Wednesday, five young unemployed men set themselves on fire, indicating the growing trend in self-immolation in the Middle East as a way of protesting, most notably initiated by the Tunisian fruitseller who set himself on fire after being humiliated by the police which ultimately triggered the Arab Spring. Unemployment in Morocco currently stands at around 31 percent. In related news, Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane gave an outline of his government's plans to target national economic growth which in turn would boost the employment sector. Government spokesman and information minister Mostapha Khalfi said the new program aims to meet the people's expectations and deal with various social issues by introducing relevant policies in aspects such as housing and education. Ernie Moritz Shetland to Sahara and back adventure for charity [06:35]
in 2007, 2008 i rode my KTM 990 Adventure S Dakar on a 16000 Km round trip adventure. i met other bikers along the way but did most of the trip alone and un aided. When I got to the Tropic of Cancer I raised a Shetland flag!! I was quite aware that Western Sahara was at war so didnt hang around for too long. I raised £1600 for Rachel house children's hospice. Thanks to all those who donated and looked after me on the way. The KTM is now history as a pickup truck drove into me writing off the bike and nearly killing myself and my partner. Of all the tough roads, tracks, sand and ice this bike rode thru this was one of its hardest adventures and it made it thru trouble free, i will miss my Dakar special! enjoy the video.

And no I'm not a midget, I sometimes held the IPOD at waist level so it wouldn't be so obvious in the medinas.
