Built by the French in the 1920s, Lake Lalla Takerkoust is a great excursion only 45 minutes from Marrakech. Fantastic views of the Atlas mountains. This film was taken end December! Brokedown Palace - Literally - Tangier Morocco [00:59]
One of the things we do when traveling is purposely get lost. Walk away from the tourist area without a map lost. This is the sort of cool stuff we find. Clearly this project ran out of steam quickly. Too bad. All that custom concrete work would have been amazing.
