Long Treks Morocco - Arabian Camel Caravan [11:51]
We skated all the way down to Zagora losing our minds. We hop into a shuttle to go to the desert town of Mhamid were we set out into the Sahara desert with dinosaur camels. We soon find out camels are funny dinosaur monsters that like to groan and regurgitate food. Aaron gets lost in the desert and ends up entering a dream like world where fears of sunburn play heavily on his mind. Back into town we arrive with all of our gear filled with sand even Paul's eyes.

"Walkies and theiving boy" Phileasfarx's photos around Boumalne Dadès, Morocco [02:30]
A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Boumalne Dadès, Morocco by TravelPod blogger Phileasfarx titled "Walkies and theiving boy" Phileasfarx's travel blog entry: "So this place is halfway between Erg Chebbi and Marrakech. We - Me, Brighty and Ozzy, Hannah a Kiwi, Brian an American and Cameron an Ozzy - took five Grand Taxis to get here, the last one in a car with a total of 8 people in! We got picked up in the local town by two lads who worked at the small hotel. Seemed good so we went with it. The place was really nice and we had a fun evening chatting with the two guys - early twenties - who picked us up. I enjoy chatting to the local people. Randomly the Ozzy couple who I went to the desert with were also staying at the same hotel, even though they left the desert two days before me! The five of us who arrived together went for a walk the next day in the countryside. And wow. Gorges and hills everywhere. We pretty much broke every rule in the book though... left with only enough supplies for half a day, took no compass or map or warm clothes and didn't really have any idea where we were or where we were going. Only thing we did know is that the taxi who dropped us off at the start of our trip dropped us upstream of our hotel. So, we basically decided to follow the river downstream until we got to somewhere we recognised. Eventually the stragegy worked because we got home fine, although tired but still in daylight! Kinda fun getting lost though as you ...
