Reviewing a selction of my photos i took around Marrakech - Morocco in January 2010. All images edited in lightroom with the addition of an old age pre-set to most of the images. You must visiting this magical city at some stage, i was a little worried but really loved my week. go opened minded and make sure you can say NO in a stern voice and you will be fine.

Imassine est un village berbère (Amazigh) Chleuh dans "la vallée des 1000 et une kasbahs" dans la province de Ouarzazate à plus de 1300 mètres d'altitude, au nord-est d'Ouarzazate. Ce village se situe entre la commune de Skoura et d'El Kelaâ Mgouna. Imassine est un village des Aït Zekri, une tribue berbère faisant parti des Aït Imeghrane, une fédération de 5 tribues berbères qui se situe entre le Haut-Atlas et le Jbel Saghro. Imassine est composé d'environ 2500 habitants répartis sur plusieurs douars ainsi que d'autres petits villages faisant partie de l'ensemble d'Imassine comme Taghzoute, Bouykba et Assaka. L'oued Dadès traverse le village et permet à la population locale d'irriguer leur jardins et va se jeter sur le barrage El Mansour . La température varie de -5°C en Hiver à 38°C en été.

Ouarzazate - Morocco's Hollywood and one of Sam's Exotic Travels 2011 [01:52]
Ouarzazate is home to Morocco's biggest firm studios. Movies including Lawrence of Arabia (one of my all-time favorities), The Living Daylights (1987), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Martin Scorsese's Kundun (1997) and Legionnaire (1998) were shot in the Ouarazate area. In case you have trouble, as I did, in pronouncing the city's name, think of the phrase "Where's It At", change the Wh to Ou - and it close enough so most Moroccans will understand you. Ouarzazate (lit. "noiselessly" called The door of the desert), is located in southern-central Morocco, on the edge of the Sahara. The town large Berber population built many of the prominent kasbahs and building for which the area is known.
