映像と音楽：こいで みのるモロッコは素材の宝庫である。街中で見かける風景そのものがコンテンポラリー。長い歳月を経て自然に風化した建造物。イラストや落書きにより人為的に表現された壁。どれもこれも「作品なのだ」という主張や作為を全く感じさせないところに、純粋なアートの精神が宿っている。街自体が巨大なインスタレーションと言っても過言ではないだろう。 世界中の様々なアーティストたちがこのモロッコを愛した。カサブランカからエッサウィラ、マラケシュを経由して反時計周りにタンジェまで一周したモロッコの旅の中で見つけた路上のアートの片鱗を、彼らに対するオマージュとして捧げてみた。 映像作品『Colorful Maghreb』(2006) より抜粋。

Morocco - Essaouria Camel Trek - Part two [01:00]
Part two of the trip sees us trekking to an old ruin where Jimi Hendrix, Cat Stevens and Bob Dylan are all rumoured to have spent time writing songs and probably smoking a lot, in the late sixties. It is supposed to be the place that influenced Jimi to write 'castles made of sand'.
