Abbiamo trascorso la giornata da Chez Omar, bagnandoci nel fiume che sgorga fino a Asif n'Srou che passa per Tamri fino a giungere nell' oceano Atlantico. Abbiamo mangiato il Tajine più buono er nel pomeriggio abbiamo riaggiunto Marrakech. nella piazza di Djemaa el-Fna (o Jāmiʿ el-Fnā) siamo stati costretti a cenare tra le bancarelle che dopo il tramonto aggrediscono la piazza. MARRAKECH: situata al centro-sud del Paese, a circa 150 km dalla costa dell'oceano atlantico. Abbastanza vicina alle montagne dell'Alto e del Medio Atlante, in linea d'aria dista circa 50 km dal massiccio del Djebel Toubkal, la cima più elevata del Marocco. Si ritiene che Marrakech sia stata fondata all'inizio della dinastia almoravide, fra il 1062 ed il 1070, da Yūsuf ibn Tāshfīn, un importante capo militare che - dopo aver conquistato il nord del Marocco - occupò al-Andalus in seguito alla sconfitta dei re cristiani in Spagna. Marrakech è soprattutto una città da guardare. Djemaa el-Fna, offre quello che è forse il più grande spettacolo all'aperto del mondo. My 2 weeks tour of Morocco - Part 1. Marrakech to Meknes [04:31]
Just had a wonderful two weeks touring Morocco with OnTheGo Tours. The organisation was well thought out, our two guides knowledgable and great fun and we did the lot - the big cities, the three mountain ranges and even into the Sahara. I'd never been on a group tour before and had my worries about that format but we had a good group of people from all over and had a good laugh (and a betrothal).
