Tangier - Tanger , Marruecos, MOROCCO ! [06:12]
Tangier, also Tangiers Tifinagh Tanja, archaic Berber name: Tingi, Arabic: طنجة Ṭanǧah) is a city in northern Morocco with a population of about 1.400,000 (2012 census). It lies on the North African coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. It is the capital of the Tangier-Tetouan Region and of the Tangier-Asilah Larache prefecture of Morocco. The history of Tangier is very rich due to the historical presence of many civilizations and cultures starting from the 5th century BC. Between the period of being a Phoenician town to the independence era around the 1950s, Tangier was a place—and, sometimes a refuge—for many cultures. However, it was not until 1923 that Tangier was attributed an international status by foreign colonial powers, thus becoming a destination for many Europeans, Americans and others. The city is currently undergoing rapid development and modernization. Projects include new 5-star hotels along the bay, a modern business district called Tangier City Centre, a new airport terminal and a new soccer stadium. Tangier's economy is also set to benefit greatly from the new Tanger-Med port. Tangier's sport team IRT (or Ittihad Riadi de Tanger) is the main football club and has the most followers. Tangier will be one of the host cities for the 2015 African Nations Cup soccer championship, played at the new Ibn Batouta Stadium and in other cities in Morocco

Balcony View of Bay of Tangier in Morocco [04:10]
We arrived in Taniger, Morocco by train at night and took a taxi to this hotel after reading a recommendation on it from a travel guide book on Morocco we bought. It was cheaper than the hotel we booked in our package in Casablanca and so much better and relaxing! And of course the view was incredible. I do a walkthrough of this video capturing the moment I felt after waking up in the morning and I hope you can feel it too. After this we would travel to Spain by boat and then onto Gibraltar, UK - videos for these visits to come soon. Thanks for watching!

Moroccan Farmer Singing a Folk Song [00:56]
We were out this summer in Morocco and while we were eating at a cafe in the countryside this dude with a violin comes up and asks to play for us for only 1 Dirham (about 12 cents in today's currency). So I say why not! I have no idea what he's saying but it sounds cool! Oh yeah, recorded with my Samsung Galaxy i7500.

Ludhiana, 1st trip [02:14]
We had gone to Ludhiana in search of inexpensive clothing. We visited "Chaura Bazaar", a middle and lower class area where everything is relatively cheaper. This is on the Auto-rickshaw ride back to the bus stand. 2 words: heavy traffic.
