Imlil village, Morocco, 2009 [00:31]
This is Imlil, along the berber trail that we walked for two days. Imlil has a few separate villages as explained to me by my guide. This was a nice place (for a day) but still so underdeveloped. I ate the tastiest apple though :) which I got for free. The scenery is amazing. We walked 4 hours from another village. And we had proper toilet here and even hot showers yay!

The berber trail in Morocco 2009 [00:23]
A rather bizarre environment somewhere in the Atlas mountains, walking past berber villages. You wouldn't think anybody lives round here but they do. People are generally very friendly but if they see you taking photos of them or their property they'll chase you for a bit of change. Always have change on you or run fast :)

Atlas mountain walk Morocco 2009, Imlil valley [00:25]
Looking down onto Imlil in the valley. We met so many people along this berber trail. Just when you think you're all alone and a group of about 30 turned up then the french group walked past and some locals. You're never alone round here. Was a fun walk. I wish I did more of this instead of staying in Marrakech for days.
