Wow, thanks for all that info John. I was'nt planning on any sort of guide. Certainly not from a bus to a hotel. Except maybe for a trip to the desert, I was planning maybe 2 or 3 days there. Many places we have travelled alone without the need of a guide, but maybe I think the desert would not be a good idea.
