Travel to Spain

During summer vacation, I went to ibiza and madrid with my families, enjoying the fresh stunning beaches and gorgeous sight of the bay… Especially, in ibiza, we had a good time, joining the intense dance music parties, very fantastic! In madrid, we visited the historical plazas, monuments and churches. There are a lot of scrumptious food. In the evening, we stayed in the well-equipped hotels at reasonable prices with excellent service. Oh, one more thing, when I chatted with Spanish about their real lifestyle, they are open-minded and kind. I enjoy this trip very much. Which country attract you most? Waiting for your chat.

So how many families do you have?

Ibiza, that is so not interesting, unless you are into party, xtc, the doink doink music and the little starlets

Now Madrid that is my kind a place.

Next month I am going to find myself in Madrid twice - once on my way to Morocco and once on the way back.

On the way down I shall be there for around 6 hours. On the way back we have an overnight stop-over so it's nearly a full day in Madrid.

Any suggestions what's good to do or see in the city?

Keith

What are you into?

Look, you can go downtown Madrid real easy with the Metro. Make sure you get a metro-map before you hop on it.

I would suggest getting of at Puerta Del Sol or either Callao if you want to do some shopping. If you want to see some sightseeing, they have this bus (two lines) that you can get on, I believe it's about 15 euro a person. With the ticket you can jump in and out, see the impressive architecture.

Hitting the town clubbing, now that's a different story That's not something you want to do before hopping on a plane.

Anyways, downtown Madrid is just a nice walk all the way of you like walking. Plenty of small city parks, impressive buildings, museums, good food. It has it all.

From the Airport to downtown takes about 30 minutes by metro. Don't bother taking a cab. With all the traffic it takes the same time, but it will cost you around 25 euro while a metro ticket is just 1.90 euro.

Google a bit on sights to see in Madrid and I am sure you will have a wonderful time.
