A stowaway was found dead in the undercarriage of a Moroccan plane, reported Wednesday the Belgian radio channel RTBF

The gruesome discovery was made Tuesday afternoon at the Zaventem airport, near Brussels.

The plane, a Boeing 747, belonged to the Moroccan Air company Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and came from Casablanca.

There is no further information about the case for the moment, except that the victim was probably a Moroccan man.

This tragedy occurred about six years after the discovery of two Guinean teenagers in similar circumstances. The two boys had hidden in the undercarriage belonging to the Belgian company Sabena.

UK Police Probe Death Of Apparent Airplane Stowaway
By Patrick Goodenough
CNS London Bureau Chief
December 27, 2000

London (CNSNews.com) - British police continue to investigate the discovery of a body on an airport runway on Christmas Day. Investigators speculate the man may have been a Cuban migrant who froze to death after stowing away in a wheel bay of an aircraft.

Police found the body after a worker at Gatwick Airport near London reported seeing something fall from a British Airways Boeing 777 as it took off, bound for Mexico.

There is speculation the man hid inside the landing gear prior to an earlier flight from Havana to Britain, died in the freezing temperatures and then fell out as the plane took off.

A spokesman for the Sussex county police said Wednesday the identification process was continuing, but is expected to a long process because the man had not been carrying identification papers.

A Gatwick Airport duty officer described the person as a "young man." A Gatwick spokesperson said security around planes was the airport's responsibility, and that its procedures were carried out in line with standards set by the government.

"It's not appropriate to speculate about this ahead of the [completion of the] police investigation," she added.

British Airways has announced it will review its own security procedures. A press officer said Wednesday the company was cooperating with the police investigation, but otherwise was not willing to comment on the case.

Just one day earlier, another body of an apparent airline stowaway was discovered in England, on a farm beneath the flight paths of both Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

The young man, of Mediterranean appearance, may have been there for some time before discovery, making a link with a particular flight even more difficult. His body showed signs of having fallen from a considerable height.

Lack of oxygen and freezing temperatures make it unlikely that an undercarriage stowaway will survive.

In 1996, two Indian brothers hid in a wheel bay of an airliner on a flight from New Delhi to London. One fell to his death as the landing gear was lowered on the approach to Heathrow but the other, Pardeep Singh, survived and was allowed to stay in Britain.

i know i cussed but im right im i ?

salam all
in the last few weeks and next to where i live,i heared police cars and ambulances thinking im still in chicago somewhere in west or south side!
noises and screams!
the local casa blanca police together with el mrood the reserve "black shoes"have disapointed me and many citizens ...they blocked the road with barriers and started beating the employees of la RAM.
I again feel we have not changed and regret not listening to my fellow freinds in the USA about not going back to MOROCCO!
nothing have changed !!
at least when living abroad you can understand why people would hate or be afraid of you or even mistreat you!not when when you are in your own country that you fought to speak for it!
i have left usa because i was told i can't go because of 9-11 issues i need to wait..i have fought for the idea that i should be free !
i came back and now i have regrets !
and yes usa should forgive me for thinking wrong about her!
i know even if they are bad doers and sinners ,it shouldn't be a reason to hate them, because now even in jomoaa and in an islamic country ,i see worse doers !
yes i admit that im suffering a mental anguish and even sick of people that have a lack of communication problems!
i hardly had this issue in USA!
god bless america! DAMN you ben laden. DAMN U you la ram and casa blanca police! and HOW SAD 4 me too been your UNKOWN hero !
DAMN every one that hurted me and innocent people!MAY THEY BE GONE.
if im lost so you are!
this is yes not just la ram issue but everything is connected with social life!
i can't even sleep thinking i walked through a place where people were beaten just for speaking out!
i can't feel safe when i have been mistreated by my own people !
it's time for a change! either live free or die free!
