Just about anywhere Starfirebhs. You step out of the bus or train and stumble over the budget hotels that all have availability - and if not you will definitely be surrounded by kids that want to show you one. In Fez though you will have to take a petit taxi from the train station to the Medina. Walk through the gate and then you have literally dozens on all sides.
