I started an informative, humorous, and nice thread for members to enjoy. The topic is "The Monkey Thread" and it includes great pictures, funny stories, and information about monkeys. Many of the largest simians have their home in Africa.

The great thing about monkeys is they are so closely related to humans. Yet monkeys are void of the concepts of religion, war and criminality.

There are many studies that illuminate the breadth of emotions monkeys are capable of. Of course the biggest emotion is that of happiness, monkeys spend most of their days playing and having fun. They also show more complex emotions such as depression. One of the more interesting studies conclude monkeys understand the concept of fairness and they'll share food even when they are themselves hungry.

I'm tired of seeing "The Monkey Thread" deleted and closed. Articles concerning the tireless efforts of Dr. Jane Goodall are included in my thread and I wish it to be an introspective collective for members to appreciate and contemplate.

Thanks for your cooperation in protecting information concerning monkeys from the hands of current moderators (CoolP) bent on desecrating the image of monkeys.

If their is a misunderstanding by some moderators of my intentions or sincerity, I offer understanding and simply wish to clear this matter up.

You and I both know that's a pile of gibbon-crap Carter, as "monkey" is the word you use to describe Muslims on other sites.

However, as long as your threads remain strictly restricted to the discussion of wildlife, and carry no connotations of anything else whatsoever, of course you are welcome to continue. No spamming though - we'd all hate to see too many threads on the same subject.

Furthermore, if your threads began to acquire connotations of anything else less innocent, then of course I'd have no choice (bustin' ma balls man but you know, it's a dirty job etc) than to edit all your posts accordingly. I'm sure you agree with me about my obligations that way, what with you being such a caring guy and all

If you'd please delete any post in The Monkey Thread that is derogatory without removing or closing the entire thread, I'd appreciate it. The only reason I re-posted the thread is because it kept getting closed and that keeps me from posting new pics and articles of interest.
