Shouldn't this board be unmoderated? It's usually the way that the feedback board is for members to communicate directly with admin.

I agree this section should be un~moderated.

I don't understand why they're four Mods on this section.

Basically C-P, my point is that on most VCI forums there is a section which allows members to post messages to admin, freely. Including complaints about mods.

For that reason it has to be unmoderated, and for that reason an admin (busy though one understands he is) has to watch it himself, and not rely on mods.

Before I became a mod, I used the feedback board on Turkey.com (along with a number of other members) to complain about a mod who was racist and offensive to women in the posts that he made, as well as discrminatory in his modding. He had no power to delete my posts or those of any other member, in that section.

In my view, if someone has a complaint about you, me, Houda, D_V, LaLaMiMi or anyone else, then they should have the right to post it here and have it commented on, and read by admin too. If they're talking crap then they won't get anywhere, and if they post material that contravenes VCI's use policy then it's Admin's job to delete their posts.

But members do deserve that basic right of redress, and the protection of knowing that if they're complaining about a mod they won't be deleted or misrepresented.

I agree with VP, many other forums have the Admin sites unmoderated however on that note- this isnt any other forum

IMHO, i think there are too many mods for many boards, like this board for example.....

We share the same experince, Super V. On Turkey.com, when several friends of Hattashil posted about anally raping my Mom and masturbating on my face, I complained. Hattshil laughingly warned his buddies about their language, then banned me and deleted my complaint.

It seems to me that persons like Hattashil who frequently abuse their moderator previledge should not be allowed to erase the Feedback section. A better question is why these pinheads were ever made moderators in the first place, but we sort of know the answer to that one already - anything anti-American, racist towards Jews, anti-liberal is (cough, cough) applauded.

Granted Turkey.com imploded under the weight of its own hypocrisy, the Turkey.com trolls simply invaded Russia.com and revived their racist and fascist postings towards American/Russian/Slavic members.

(If you don't know the words, please hum along.)

We shall overcome
We shall overcome
We shall overcome some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We'll walk hand in hand
We'll walk hand in hand
We'll walk hand in hand some day

We shall all be free
We shall all be free
We shall all be free some day

We are not afraid
We are not afraid
We are not afraid some day

We are not alone
We are not alone
We are not alone some day

The whole wide world around
The whole wide world around
The whole wide world around some day

We shall overcome
We shall overcome
We shall overcome some day
