Linked images should be disallowed

Linked images should be disallowed. I know on UBB and DCForums software one can do that. If tht can be done here, please disallow the linked images. Maybe its the [img] code tag.

This would prevent the images being posted.

While your concerns are valid, disallowing linked images would also mean Members will no longer be able to use images as sigs, their favourite smilies or post pictures of their vacations, etc.
The problem isn't with linked images.
The problem lies with the forum delinquents and their lack of
respect towards Members and themselves.

This would be a small price to pay to ensure the integrity of this forum.

Until the Admins can figure out a way to stop this abuse it would be prudent to disallow the image link option.

Also members can upload their vacation pics to free websites and then just provide a link to their pics. Instead of pics being embedded.

Just to allow the embedded image link for member's favorite signatures is not reason enough.

Memory loss again?
I did remind you to inform voltaires_priest that the forum was up and running again, did i not?
I didn't realise the power of the cue was that big of a deal. Do some more push-up's.
