African Champions League: Morocco's Raja to take on Burundi's Inter Stars
Morocco's Raja Casablanca will take on Burundi's Inter Stars in the second round of the African Champions League, as the African Soccer Confederation (CAF) kicked out Caps United of Zimbabwe of competition for using two improperly registered players in the first round, said on Wednesday the CAF Organizing Committee.
Raja, which had won 1-0 over Caps United in the second round first leg, will play on April 2 the Burundi club in Casablanca before flying on April 9 to Bujumbura.
Caps United was disqualified after a complaint lodged by the Inter Stars of Burundi, saying that Caps United of Zimbabwe used two unqualified players in their match against Inter Stars of Burundi in their first-round game.
Besides the African Champions League, Raja will play on April 6 the second leg of the Arab Champions League semis before Sudan's Al-Hilal.
