THEY BETTER QUALIFY THIS TIME.........

Morocco prepare for World Cup

Naybet makes Tottenham return
Tottenham Hotspur defender Noureddine Naybet has been included in Morocco's 24-man squad for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Malawi and Kenya.

Naybet's return to action after injury for his English club last weekend in the last game of the season secured his inclusion in a 24-man squad for the Group Five clashes.

The Atlas Lions take on Malawi at home in Rabat on 4 June and then travel to Nairobi to face Kenya on 18 June.

Norwich City midfielder Youssef Safri and the Germany-based Youssef Mokhtari, a hero during Morocco's march to last year's African Nations Cup final, are also recalled to the squad.

"I am very happy to return to the Atlas Lions," said the 25-year-old Mokhtari, who was dropped for the clash against Guinea in March.

"I am sure that I am in top form and that I can help my country reach the World Cup finals."

Yet there is no place for Ajax Amsterdam striker Noureddine Boukhari who has been dropped by coach Badou Zaki.

The north Africans, who are unbeaten in their last eight internationals, lead Group Five with 12 points, three clear of second-placed Kenya.

Squad:

Goalkeepers:
Tarek Jarmouni (Royal Armed Forces), Nadir Lamyaghri (Wydad Casablanca), Khalid Sinouh (RKC Waalwik)

Defenders:
Jamal Alioui (Perugia, Italy), Tarek Chihab (FC Zurich, Switzerland), Talal El Karkouri (Charlton Athletic, England), El Amin Erbate (Raja Casablanca), Noureddine Naybet (Tottenham Hotspur, England), Abdelslam Ouaddou (Stade Rennes, France), Walid Regragui (Racing Santander, Spain)

Midfielders:
Mounir Diane (RC Lens, France), Badr El Kaddouri (Dynamo Kiev, Ukraine), Noureddine Kacemi (Istres, France), Houssine Kharja (Ternana), Yousef Mokhtari (Energie Cottbus, Germany), Youssef Safri (Norwich City, England), Mohamed Yaacoubi (Osasuna, Spain)

Forwards:
