In the first Gulf war Jordan paid a heavy financial toll for siding with Iraq. In this one, Jordan is reaping HUGE financial benefits, as multinationals who have businesses (military, government, private companies, etc) in Iraq prefer to headquarter in Jordan --- pushing up huge earnings from house rents, entertainments, commodities, services, etc.

Feeling safer after the recent election, housing prices in Baghdad are going through the roof (4 times Saddam-era price), reports Yahoo News.

3000 sq.foot house in Mansour District: $300,000.

How dare you try to justify those deaths!!

This war which started based on a lie from a delusional who believed that he was called by God to declare it has killed thousands and thousands of innocents.

So for you to come here and try to paint this picture of a better Iraq and Middle East, which would justify the death of those innocents, is offensive. It is as if someone dared saying that the WTC attacks were a good thing because it led to the creation of Homeland Security agency and an overall tighter security which now protects us better than before.

So much for worshipping the prince of peace and all that mambo jumbo

Rocam, have you lost your marbles?

I simply passed on an information reported in the news, as Iraq is neighbor to Jordan.

All along, through your different posts here and there you have been trying to "prove" that this war actually brought “good” things. So don’t even try looking all shocked and offended.

So much for thou shall not lie

Theja, don't waste your time with this fella. He is too emotional. He reminds me of bent-a-jirane (neighbor) Houda backhome. She used to cry a little baby. All the time.
