Huh? I don't get it. Please do share. I am not understanding what that has to do with Wolfowitz and his Tunisian girlfriend.

But you are correct, Doctors Without Borders is a good organization.

the principle....

Doctors without borders go anywhere there is need and their services can be of help.

Likewise, love can surmount any barriers, that's what I meant. Wolfowitz carries a lot of political baggage because of his involvement in the war, and generally Muslims resent him for that. Plus he is ethnically a Jew. For him to be dating a Muslim lady crosses political and religious barriers.

He is dating out of wedlock

If that is something to applaud.......

Anyway, know I understand why he is all of a sudden a candidate for the position leading the WB. Conflict of interest I would say.

I don't think that exactly is what the animosity towards Wolfowitz is about. Many in the American left have for a long time resented his world views even during the cold war (and many in the left are Jews).

Sometimes the word Muslim has nothing to do with religion but has more to do with with ethniticity. I don't think that a devout Muslimah would be courting a married far-right wing facist.
I shall coin a new term: 'playing the Muslim(ah) card'.
