I'm playing in the music group for our Good Friday service tomorrow. Hope you,too,have tons of cool things to do to remember this important week!

These days the reality show EXTREME MAKEOVER is very popular in the country. Through modern technology and expert doctors, many ugly ducklings are turned into Cinderallas and many beasts are turned into princes.

...tummy tuck, faultless set of snow white teeth, shaped nose, eyes, lips, breasts, wrinkles, name it -- any undesirables are removed/replaced by operations.

The real reality is that all these are temporal -- all these princes and cinderallas who were fortunate enough to be selected for the show will eventually die someday, just like the rest of us.

But in the resurrection, all these physical limitations will be put away by death, and the spirit will resurrect and receive new immortal bodies. Now this is the real stuff to rejoice over. This one is permanent or eternal.

What a wonderful God we serve!

I thought that the People of the Book board was open to all peoples of the book discussions; a common place for all discussions with people of the Torah, Bible and alQur'an.
I have no problem with Jews or Christians or Buddhists in the Islam board, I just find it a bit disrespectful to wish a "happy easter" in this board (just as I would find it disrespectful to wish an '3eyd mubarak' on a Christian or Hindu board).

Disorganize, confuse and frustrate; we know the name of the game I know that we gotta be told what we can and should not do, even if we do not have the same rights to do it as well. Of course we must be ignorants because we have not accepted someone else's 'reality'
