At least there's an honest Muslim in this forum.
Great, now the Christian can tell us who is the honest Muslim and who isn’t! Now the Christian can let us know who is actually acting like a real Muslim and who isn’t. We should appoint you as a judge over us since you know so much more about Islam than we do.

Give me a break
Read the threads about the pope in the open board?

The problem is, i clearly stated and praised LalaMimi for being an honest Muslim...period. There was no implication that i have referred to anyone else as "dishonest".
Is something bothering you? Or are you being the selective reader you've always been?

Don’t play the martyrs!! You are twisting the story! Who talked about taking your right to celebrate your religious holidays? LM didn’t even talk about that in her reply. You know why you said what you said; I will not spend hours debating this.

Playing the "martyr"? Mate, are you alrite up there?
For your info, i speak to LalaMimi very often in chats.
And we do talk about religious issues at times, and very often we do so in a very respectful manner. Don't judge me when you do not know me. And yes, i do believe LalaMimi was acknowledging that Christians too have a right to worship God and celebrate Easter. Are you going to scrutinize her for that? Get real cowboy.

Beside, this talk was between two Muslims debating a certain aspect of their faith, why bother getting in between?? A Moroccan saying roughly translates as is “Only dirt comes between the finger and the nail”.

1) This thread is in the People of the Book.
Christians have every right to wish each other a happy Easter.

2) This thread does not belong to you. In fact, this thread was intended for well-wishers. LalaMimi was the first Muslim to wish us a happy Easter, and that obviously got you upset.

3) "Either do as your neighbors do, or move away".
A Moroccan proverb.

Get it?

Thus, there is nothing to prevent a Muslim or an Islamic center from congratulating non-Muslims, either verbally or by sending a card that contains no symbols or icons of religious implications that may contradict Islamic faith and principles, such as a cross, for the concept of the crucifixion is totally outlawed and denied by Islam. Allah states in the Holy Qur'an: (...but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Jesus was put over another man…) (An-Nisa' 4: 156)

Indeed, one finds in the customary words of congratulations nothing that carries any explicit or implicit recognition of any aspects of their faith or belief, nor any condoning thereof.

This is what LalaMimi posted. Tell us what you see.
