Considering that we Muslims believe that Jesus did not die, whishing Christians a Happy Easter (happy resurrection) is contradictory!

4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Al-Masih 'Isa the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.

4:158 Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

That's interesting. If Jesus didn't die, at what point in the life of Jesus was he "raised up" to Allah?

Christians celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ because there is eyewitness report by the disciples, who sealed their testimony with their very lives -- dying for what they know to be true.

So I guess we disagree with Muhammad who came 500 years later and received the doctrine of Ebionitism from 'cult' Christians in Syria who thought that Jesus did not die in the flesh.

The apostle Paul has placed a curse on those who will deny the death and resurrection of Christ (Galatians 1:6-9).

Logically then, either Muhammad was correct, or he received incorrect information and all his followers have been following a religion that cannot lead to heaven.

Hi Rocam

I consider myself a Muslim, I don't celebrate Easter, but I appreciate that Christians do celebrate it... and it is appreciated, when Christians and other non Muslims wish me/us an Eid Morbarak, when it is Eid.

There maybe a difference in opinion and belief, but there can exist an understanding and tolerance, which is an aspect that I think so many need to preach, practice and maybe there would not be the needless conflicts and futile arguments, which have gone on for too long, destroying nations, many aspects of human life and spirituality.

After Jesus rose from the death, fulfilling biblibal prophecy to the letter, He appeared to believers for 40 days. At one time He appeared to over 500 people.

At the time Paul wrote his letter to the Corinthians, many of those who have seen the resurrected Jesus were still alive. It is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:6.

If Paul was telling a lie, any of those 500 who saw Jesus could easily expose Paul because he put it in writing.

Saul/Paul was at first a staunch opponent of Christ. But he later turned around and died for the faith he once opposed.

Paul sealed the testimony of the resurrection by willingly dying for his conviction. 2 Timothy 4:6-8.

Paul was a crazy nut job. Most of the other Christians didn't like him anyway. See how Romans can change things well after you are dead?!
