Lightbulb for every action there is history not necessary religion

SALAM JER
that is an action not every muslim celebrating ashurah does.
and i hope when refering to other people culture and religion not to make torah as the role model ..something that is not perfect never give something perfect
you know jews also stand in front of a wall and does strange moves and polute the wall with trash ??
the action is makrouh but not harram!oulamat said!
since we will be just brutalising one another with things we do not understand ...why it is done and what for ?
PERHAPS ASKING CAN GIVE MORE ENLIGHTENING ANSWERS .
REGARDS,

Which practice of 3shura? it is the sunnah of Muhammad (S3WS) to fast on that day. The Sheyah have other things that they do on that day but it is tied to a historical signifigance, not religious ones.

Peace & blessings to all,

On this day fasting is greatly encouraged and handsomely rewarded by God.

As'shoora is also important because of an after the Prophet's {{ SAAW }} migration. On the day of Ashura in the Iraqi city of Karbala, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad {{ SAAW }}, Husayn, was murdered along with 72 of his kinsmen by the army of the Muslim Caliph Yazid.

This day is probably the most important day in all of Shia Islam, and Shia Muslims have been known to self-flagellate in mourning of the Imam's murder.

Although I do not agree with the self~mutilation rituals of the Shia on Ashoora, and I do not follow Shia Islam, there will always be a warm place in my heart for my Shia brothers and sisters.

salam
yes ashura day of fasting erases the sins of the whole year!
"the little sins"
i fasted that day hamdulilah and may he accept !
so we know realise the pain caused to the true muslims by the murderer zayed and all the muslims at that time who have bowed down to him because of fear ..
shall read the quraan when it is said...
"of burning hell ...we were just obeying them ..they were strongers and our masters .."
too hard to explain ..
