As much as you hate Islam, as much as you may try and convince people on this forum and otherwise that Islam is pure evil, as much as you may not fathom Islam, the fact is that many, many people are choosing this religion everyday.

Some of us were born to it, love it, practice it with delight every second of our existence. Others are finding it are coming to it by choice.

So as much as you may wish this , as much as you may preach, Islam is never going away, it is only growing and getter stronger

Hate is too strong a word to characterize my position. I do disagree with the teachings in Islam. People who were born and raised in Islamic society feel OK with their surroundings, but an outsider may find Muslim communities/countries are too restrictive and even oppressive.

In life we all face choices and decisions, and the most serious of it all is the eternal destiny of mankind. So I reason with people here to make sure what they are depending on is from God, and not just some human opinions or errors that can land someone on the wrong side of ETERNITY.

I was not raised in a Muslim society. I was born and bred in Britain. My dad is pure English and converted to Islam in his late 20's. So may dad, like you , was an "outsider" until he *chose* to convert.

As for eternity, like I said on another thread. Don't be so arrogant. How do you know YOUR answer to eternity is the correct one? Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Africans following ancestral religions all believe that they are right with the same conviction as you!

Well if you find Islam credible, that's your decision whether you're an outsider or insider.

I have no arrogance at all. I do stand by what Jesus was and is, what He said, and what He did. Our disagreements has to do with Jesus Christ, as He once asked His disciples : "Who do men say that the Son of Man is?" (Matthew 16:13).

I disagree with Muslims because I do not find Muhammad credible and he has lived below biblical standard for a prophet. That is to say that following his teachings will NEVER lead one to heaven.

To me all the claims of other religions are irrelevant because there is no redemption in them. To someone like you, their claims may confuse you, but not me. They are all manmade religions.

hehe Theja, there we go again. Quoting the Bible to someone who does not believe in it. How would you feel if I quoted the Koran to you It would fall on deaf ears wouldn't it.

You think redemption is only possible through Christ, I say Christ was a Muslim cos Islam means "submission to God" and Christ submitted to God. Do a bit of research, you will find that Christ referred to God as "Illahi" (My God), which is what we Muslims call God everyday

I respect all religions , i just dislike arraogance. You epitomise arrogance, this says it all "To someone like you, their claims may confuse you, but not me."

You think you're so bright don't you Other people are bright enough to fathom all faiths too you know

I think that you are so stuck in your religious rut that you cannot see reason, or respect other faiths. You are all caught up in your "I'm -the - only-one going -to -heaven" bubble that you cannot fathom that others of other faiths feel exactly the same as you!

When Vesuvius erupted many idol worshippers made offerings to their gods, they died in peace, knowing that theirs was the right religion. Today we know that they beleived in fairytales

You unbelief does not change the facts at all, because you are NOT the measure of truth. Tommorrow 1 billion people may wake up and decide not to believe in gravity, but all of them will find the truth if they jump from a tall building.

I too respect other religions, but I consider them manmade religions with no redemption in them.
----------------------------------------------------

You may play with semantics about submission, etc, but the Allah of the Koran is not the same as the God of the Bible. So Muslims have no claim to Christ unless they acknowledge Him as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). That there is no other way to heaven (Acts 4:12).

PS Theja , you said

"I disagree with Muslims because I do not find Muhammad credible and he has lived below biblical standard for a prophet. That is to say that following his teachings will NEVER lead one to heaven."

If you were a truly humble human being, you would not blatantly criticise another religion like this.

May I ask what the reason for your obsession with Islam is? Is it that you are hurt by witnessing so many people of different faiths coming to Islam?

All I am saying is that for a "happy Christian" you sure spend alot of time criticising another religion. Why use a website to vent ur anger at Islam? Were u wronged/hurt by a Muslim? Your sermons go beyond preaching to pure hate. You may try to disguise it, but it shows

Oh, and if u really wanna criticise faiths why not talk about ancestral worship and the like?

But noooo, you gotta attack Islam. It would be interesting to know ur history and the wrongs you suffered!
