Acussed of having sex with two boys, a girl in Iran gets 100 lashes. Since female testimony is less than that of a male according to the prophet, I guess the two boys gets reduced sentences: 30-40 lashes.

In Saudi Arabia there is a police department for "the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice".

It is the external application of physical pressure and does not deal with the human heart. One can appear like an angel outwardly and still nurture an evil heart.

God is interested in the heart, and once this is dealt with, the outward appearace will take care of itself. The Holy Spirit deals with the heart and does not need a physical police to enforce morality.

The right-wing churches in the USA do almost nothing but try and physically police morality, whether it's waving plastic foetuses at rape victims who are walking into abortion clinics, campaigning against the legal right of gay people to formalise their partnerships, insisting on compulsory school prayer, or whatever.

As for opposing abortion, the issue spills over to civic duties and in a democracy anyone (religious or not) can oppose or support anything.

I've never hidden my views on anything, and having an opinion on the role played by conservative churches is an indicator of having an opinion, not "bias".

Anyhow, you might see my own "bias" but you clearly don't see your own. The right-wing churches don't act as concerned individuals but rather as an intolerant and extremely well-funded political lobby. That sets them apart from individuals taking positions on an issue.
