Satan and the number 666

can we discuss this subject about Satan the number 666?

"He (the Beast) required everyone--great and small, rich and poor, slave and free--to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name, Wisdom is need to understand this. Let the one who has understanding solve the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man

The 666 is not the number of an individual. In the past some have even assigned it to the Pope, Ronald Reagan, and even "Governator" Arnold..... add your list.

It is a symbolic representation for human ideals that opposes Christ (antichrist), be it religion, politics, or philosophies.

It becomes the number of an individual only in the sense that within the system someone sits at the top of the organisation. So the 666 is not attached to one particular individual, but an individual can come to represent the number.

In the past, some Roman dictators vigorously persecuted innocent Christians just for being Christians, hence these dictators became the 666.

In this context, a few popes also became the 666 for murdering many in the name of the Church; but not all popes are 666. The number cannot be perpetually assigned to one individual.

Today some 666 would be North Korea, Idi Amin, Fidel Castro, and I better not touch Muslims here....

Although these people are not consciously in covenant with Satan, they are unaware that their power base and their control/political system is under demonic control.

According to the Scriptures, the "mark of the beast" is received on the right hand or forehead. With modern technology, it is very possible that this mark may be directly linked with a computer chip. But regardless if it is or isn't, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything...

But this mark, which will be universally issued around the entire world, MUST NOT be received under any circumstances, even by Christians!

As the mark will definitely be issued one day, as Scripture declares, the eternal destiny for all who receive that mark will also be in accordance with Scripture! Do not be deceived about this. If you are a Christian, you MUST NOT take this mark or you, too, will miss the kingdom of God and suffer eternal torment over this single act of disobedience, according to Scripture!

tt, I have absolutely no fear of such a mark, for it is not going to happen. Here scripture is speaking in a highly symbolic manner, but some Christians have interpreted it to mean a concrete event.

Let's say, if a mark is introduced and taking of it would signify denying Christ (for Christians) then of course there is going to be a fight. But that kind of imposition is impossible for several reasons:

1. No democratic government will accept such an undemocratic imposition.

2. Simply accepting a mark is meaningless, unless one confess at the same time something like this : "by accepting this mark I am renouncing any allegiance to God". NO ONE IN HIS/HER RIGHT MIND WILL INTRODUCE A SYSTEM LIKE THIS.

3. Muslims will laugh at such a silly system like this -- that's about 1/5 of the world's population.

Some major credit companies have developed a tiny microchip that can be implanted under the skin easily. But since when using a credit become tantamount to denying allegiance to God?

Well, I have expressed a few reasons .... will share more.

Some muslims may laugh at it I don't I think it is real and it's a work of ANTICHRIST. yes it sounds silly but think of this. nowadays if you happen to stay away from credits and just use cash to pay for goods you will be looked as an enemy of the state because you have no records on the credit file and getting cash out is more dificult than plastic etc..... therefore not good so by having credits and getting into debts is a good tracking system. I don't agree to that at all.
Take your case although i don't agree with your belief i still think you should be able to lead your life the way you want and must not be a follower of a system that is against God
Take my case i hate insurance and Interest I think they are a rip off but if I don't i will be breaking the law.

It is the credit system that keeps America rolling in riches and debts too. Nothing wrong with it, only avoid abuse and exercise discipline.

As for insurance, for businnesses its a necessity, but for personal coverages, its optional. Many people buy insurances that they don't need. But its good to have one or two, such as home insurance and health insurance (for older people). That way if anything happens, there is money to cover everything and then some.

(BTW, for the overall economy of the nation, it is the insurance system that keeps millions in employment, that's how money is spread. Same with the credit (I made a comment in the business section)-- millions are employed because of the system. Give and take).

The imposition of 666 is not going to happen. It already took place under a few Roman emperors -- the citizens forced to acknowledge the Caesars as gods.

But if Satan cannot force you into submitting to his ways, he will try to beguile with sweet deceptions, and many have and are falling under his influence. So in a way the 666 is still in force spiritually -- 1 Timothy 4:1.

Ok the insurance subject is a wide subject however you pointed out a good passage and that is what's happening right now Satan is a a liar and the father of decepters and indeed can not make you follow him unless you happen to be weak in faith or misguided
