Most Jews are Zionist, whether they are religious or not...

even the Neturei Karta Jews who attend every Pro Palestine national event and hold their own direct actions are Zionist, in a spiritual sense... they believe they will return to the promised land and there will be peace on earth and redemption to mankind...

We must not forget that Zionism is about maintaining a Jewish identity and the Jewish homeland... I personally think any ethnic group is entitled to such a belief and work torward it, it is no different to seeking and working toward an Islamic state.

We cannot demonise all Zionists, I have encountered plenty of humble and good people who declare themselves as being Zionists and also support an independent Palestine, some even would not mind a bilateral Israeli/Palestine state! some are Israeli Zionists who have refused to serve in the occupied territories..

We must condemn any breaching of human rights in any situation, whether it is the plight of the Palestinian people for their struggle to be free and plenty of other crap that goes on in the Middle East, which I don't see hardly anyone on here mention or want to condemn.

Actually Zionism is not linked to an identity plight. A person is who he/she is no matter where in the world they are. Many Orthodox Jews claim that there should not be a Jewish country since it will prevent the 'Messiah' from coming (while Jews are in occupation, or a simular situation, the Messiah will be the savior of his people).

I do not think that the Palestinians have much ability to think about human rights when they are in a situation that is in a long constant inhuman conditions. That would require a compitant infastructure, which I doubt PLO will ever give with their mafia mentality.



Personally I believe in a one state salution. That is the only way for true justice for all.


PS I would like to think of myself as a harsh critic of the Muslim world. A Muslim should be the first to point out a bad action of other Muslims.

Malik, the majority in Israel oppose this, it would give rise to endless hate between two competing cultures, seperation, even though it doesn't sound nice, is the only way to go. I have no desire to rule over arabs, I want them to govern themselves as they see fit.

I don't agree of injustice and I do not agree of daily agression by the Zionist Army it's sick and worst than what Hitler did however I do not like to see innocents being killed in the name of Religion because Islam does not allow such acts. the best Solution is to sit down and talk but first while Ariel sharon is on Power I see no solution. he is a murder and being in any discussion will trigger hatred and past crimes we need to see moderate jews and Muslims/Christians around the table.

Both sides of the bank should never intertwine religion with politics if they wish for peace talks.

And they should learn to not rely on the Arab nations or America or the EU for "moral" support.
It will only create more tensions.

In a way judasim has been hijacked by Zionism. You find in general Jewish americans to be 'progressive', supporting gay and lesbian rights, supporting minority rights but when it comes to Palestinian rights they draw the line and make sure all political, media , military , economic energy is spent against Palestinians and for Zionism.
