Haman was the one who plotted to annihilate the Jews which backfired.

After Egypt...

After the wilderness (40 years)...

In Canaan, the nation split into two: North and South. South is Judea. The Babylonians under King Nebuchadnezzar came and destroyed Judea in 606 and 586 BC. Many Jews were exiled to Babylon. So you will find prophet Daniel serving in the court of Nebuchadnezzar (and interpreted his dream).

In 538 BC the Medes (some Kurdish blood) and Persians (Iranians) took over Babylon. We find Daniel now in the court of Persian kings.

He (Persian king, Darius) allowed Jews to go back to Judea. Some stayed back. In this situation, HAMAN was a high official in the royal court. He plotted to kill Mordecai and all the Jews under Persian kingdom.

So Haman and Pharoah lived over 600 years apart. Just like Mehmet II and Saddam Hussein lived over 500 years apart.

This is in reference to the replies posted above. I originally did not know much about the subject but lately I found this excellent article addressing the issue of Haman. It is however a LONG article but those who care about academic integrity should take the challenge.

Sorry, I found nothing that corrects the errors of Muhammad. All the site did is to confuse the Muslims and keep them in a false comfort that the Koran has no errors. Just because someone assembled a response does not mean the error should be overlooked. History cannot be changed.

Saddam Hussein and Mehmet II lived in different times. Likewise Pharoah and Haman lived in different times. Anyone with academic integrity should admit and go with the historical facts.
