Be careful of hate baiters!

This post is only for Muslims. Please be careful of those who are trying to spread hatred between Muslims and Christians (Orthodox and Catholic).

I have lived in the US for 18 years but I have never met Christians (Orthodox or Catholic) or Jews who spew hatred like these "TV Evangelists". Even after Sept 11 the only hatred I saw comming was from TV Evangelists or an Indian Hindu in USA.

I even worked for a Jewish company. I had my political disagreements with them but it was still mutual respect.

However this new cult of so called "TV Evangelist" are not the same as the 'People of the Book'. So I think we should be on guard against those who are only out to spread hatred and misgivings between Muslims and the real People of the book.

You must live in a nice place. I have met many Jews and Christians who hate Muslims. This is of course not true of all Christians or Jews or Hindus, etc. but there are plenty of them in the world ffand most certainly including the US. Trust me on this.


But Safar you have a very good message and I think it should be heeded.

There are no 'Hate baiters' on here unless you provoke them. Now as you kindly put it, i suggest that approach aside for a moment and think broadly.

There will be people who 'hate' other people all the time. Not just over religion. Its part of human nature. But I'm glad to see you aboard here. Welcome.....

Where was the whining? I was just stating a fact. Maybe you should reread my last sentence in support of the tolerance that Safar is sharing with us to have.


We do not need someone trying to stir up problems and arguements when the subject of this thread is tolerance. But then again it is a typical Zionist tactic (and then point fingers and say "look at what those crazy Muslims are about").

There are thought-provoking discussions here that influences folks to swing like a pendulum --- go that far and swing back this far.....

And yes, Mchica is right in pointing out that none of us are here out of malice, or hate-baiting.

But I think according to Safar some televangelists in America are hate-baiting, whatever that is. SO I'M STILL WAITING to see if he's going to support his statement with some real incidences.

Also in line with what Jer pointed out I heard that in some Mosques in Europe a few people have prayed for Allah to destroy America. (Remember, I said "I heard" -- so someone can correct me here).

You are right there are Jews and Christians (apart from the new cult of TV and internet evangelists) who hate Muslims, and I have met some here. But then again after having discussion and debates you see how they will change. But the Evangelist cult and Zionists having a political agenda will never change.

So there is a specific reason I said that:

Because I feel it is important for us Muslims to find common ground with Christians and Jews who are willing to listen.

At the same time we shouldn't let the Zionists and this new cult of TV evangelists create more hatred among Muslims for the real People of the book, as it only serves their cause to hurt Muslims more.
