Yes I do.
I am a firm believer in many extreme possiblilties- religion amongst other things, but i cannot detach myself from the idea of how scientology is such a plausible response. I will take a look at your link now. Thank you

John Travolta and the Space Cooties
Hollywood actor John Travolta makes no secret of his affiliation with the Church of Scientology. In fact, his loyalty to Church founder L. Ron Hubbard is the inspiration behind his film version of Hubbard?s last science fiction novel "Battleship Earth." However, this flyer is not about the movie. Travolta is very careful about not telling us what he has come to believe as the result of his involvement in the advanced levels of Scientology. Travolta is now at the advanced level known as "Operating Thetan V" (OT5). When he started the "Operating Thetan III" (OT3) level, he learned the following: 75 million years ago, a alien galactic ruler named Xenu had a problem. All of the 76 planets he controlled were over-crowded. He called in billions of people for income tax audits, and had them paralysed with injections of alcohol mixed with glycol. They were loaded into space ships that looked exactly like DC-8s, except they were powered by rockets instead of jet engines. This was done with the help of psychiatrists. These DC-8 space planes flew to planet Earth where hundreds of billions of paralysed people were stacked around the bases of volcanoes. Then Xenu and the psychiatrists lowered H-bombs into the volcanoes, detonated them and everyone was killed. The story doesn't end there. Scientologists believe that everyone is really an immortal soul (called a "thetan"). To prevent another occurrence of over-population, Xenu had to trick all these hundreds of billions souls, now drifting around in the nuclear winds, into not coming back. He used special electronic traps to catch them in electronic beams which were sticky like flypaper. After he had captured all these souls, Xenu had them taken to a few huge movie theaters. The captured souls were forced to spend days watching special 3D movies that told them what life should be like and many other confusing things. They were shown pictures which were supposedly of God, The Devil and Christ. In Scientology, this process is called "implanting". When the films ended and the souls left the theaters, they thought they were all the same person(s) because they had all seen the same film. They began to stick together, clustered in groups of a few thousand. And because there were only a few living bodies left, they remained clustered and inhabited these bodies. As for Xenu and the psychiatrists, the Loyal Officers overthrew them and locked Xenu away in a mountain on one of the planets. Xenu is still alive today, imprisoned by a force field powered by an eternal battery. That is the end of the story. According to the OTIII materials, everyone today is full of these clusters of souls called "body thetans". These are what critics of Scientology humorously refer to as the "space cooties." In order to be free souls, we have to remove all these "body thetans" and pay lots of money to do so. And the only reason people believe in God and Christ was because it was in the film their body thetans saw 75 million years ago. So, what did you think of that story? What? You thought it was a stupid story? This story is a core belief in the religion known as Scientology. It is revealed to you when you reach the "advanced" level called OT3. After that you are expected to telepathically communicate with these body thetans to make them go away. You have to pay a lot of money to get to this level and do this, or you have to work very hard for Scientology for extremely low pay for many years. Most people would not get involved in Scientology if this story was common knowledge. Can you imagine why John Travolta, Hollywood actor and producer, would be reluctant to share what he actually believes with the public? We are telling you this story as a warning. If you become involved with Scientology then we would like you to do so with your eyes open and fully aware of the sort of material it contains. Most of the Scientologists who work in their Dianetics centers and so-called "Churches" of Scientology do not know this story and they are not exposed it until they reach the secret "upper" levels of Scientology. It may take them many years before they reach this level, if they ever do. The ones who know it are forced to keep it a secret and not share it with people who are joining Scientology. Now that you have read this, you know John Travolta?s big secret. Don't let this put you off from enjoying his movies though. Redux, with all due respect, let me be very frank. Please don't take it personally. Because I will attempt to present a biblical view (not my personal opinion).
If anyone contradicts the words of Jesus Christ, it must be measured against his/her words versus what Jesus says. On this score, I found the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard in conflict with the words of Jesus: and so I consider Scientology a cult. By the standard of the Bible, Hubbard included science fiction in his teachings and deceived himself and many others. I'm sorry to say, but he is in hell now. Jesus said, "... no man comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus)... " (John 14:6). Hubbard tried to carve a syncretistic path to heaven and thereby missed heaven. "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons" (1 Timothy 4:1). |

Oh come on, does this really need to be talked about in such theoretical terms. We are talking about the guys who think they can measure brain waves by holding two tin cans linked up to a set of electric scales, after all
