malika what's wrong with jer's opinion? Critic without bad words is constructive, it's a debate and we suppose to make it also with opposite opinions, otherwise what kind of discussion should be?

Thanks Kautar, she is probably one of those people who can't take criticism, maybe cause I'm a non muslim. I don't really care if she answers or not, I was illustrating a point, she is probably one of those hypocrits who would forbid back home the very same thing she enjoys where she lives: freedom of religion. I even stated at the beginning that I bore a personal dislike towards missionaries (not towards christians). If in the West we were to forbid something islamic she would probably be the first to ***** and moan in the street and complain about "racism".
Another reason why she refuses to answer may be because I "dared" criticize a weakness which I noted in the "Islam" thread.

I think Muslims need to understand that helping the poor is a part of the Christian living. So of course, they identify a need and commit their lives and goods to helping the needy. In the process, out of curiousity people ask about our faith and we tell them we are Christians. No one is forced to convert.

Another point Muslims need to understand is that God calls people into specific areas. Christians don't go around to promote a religion. We go where God sends us to go. We don't just do some religious dos and donts and call it inshaallah. We first determine what is inshaallah through our prayers, and then follow as the Spirit leads.

Example: there was a time when the Holy Spirit prevented Paul from preaching and also from going to a certain area. Later in a dream he was called to go to Philippi, and found the first European convert there. (Acts 16:6-9).

So if God is showing love and mercy to the children through these organisations, why is there so much fuss?

It is very difficult to get through to Muslim minds the fact that God speaks even today to those who wait upon Him in prayer.

All you think about is religion, religion, religion. God is not interested in dos and don'ts. God is interested in heart to heart relationship with His children.

The mindset of many Muslims is that: look Allah, I do this and this and this and this and this. I think Allah must be pleased with me because I fast, I pray 5 times a day, I give to the poor, I get upset at women scantily dressed. Oh, I am a righteous Muslim. How dare infidels slight my religion. Allah will punish them; if not, if some radicals get a chance, they will take good care of them.

Self-righteousness. Pride. Disdain for others.

All of these are useless and nonsense before God.

God is not interested in mindless religious formula. HE WANTS A RELATIONSHIP.

I may think I'm doing 50 things for God and feel good -- but God will say: "Did I ask you to do that?"

God will say: listen first! Before you do anything, listen and get direction from me. Otherwise all your works will be burnt on judgment day and you will get no rewards.

You are not a robot. Listen and respond to me!
---------------------------------------------------

"Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). ---- God is in the process of building the character (maturity) of His children so He can use them for His glory.

Yes, God speaks to me through the Holy Spirit. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says..."

Jer and amici

There is this one country on this planet and my oh my, it is not a muslim country!!! Can't name it, because then I get all these targetgroup-oriented organisations breathing down my neck that I am a racist, but the true fascists are they! By law this particular country does not allow evangelizing or converting of its chosen people.
Does this ring a bel?
Calling the kettle black eh?

Malika I hope I've understood well what you intended to say,my english is not good.
In every case, are you joking? How can you say that? Explain me.

Theja not all christians are real christians, like muslims or others, there are also who use religion for your own interest. Christian charity is not always sincere

About what you've written above, I'm totally agree, there are many many muslims like those

Peace to all
