Someone deleted the previous thread on heaven and hell -- and I'm wondering why....
Physically born once -- into human family (the baby come into the world through no choice of his/her own). No one can enter heaven in the physical body, for it is made of corruptible material. When people die, their bodies are buried (or cremated). Those who enter heaven will be given a spiritual body, one that is incorruptible. Only God and humans have spirit. The spirit lives forever. Animals have physical life, but no spirits. This distinguishes man from animal: the spirit. That is why killing of animals for food is not a crime. To go to heaven a man/woman must be born again: this time the person has to choose. Jesus said one must be born again in the Spirit -- to be born into God's family. To become God's children. A religious Jew, an old man who has been a teacher, is told to be born again. This shows that having or following a religion is not enough. To enter God's kingdom, we must be born again (John 3:1-13). God is interested in having a relationship with us. He is not interested in simply letting us follow religious rules. The purity of the human heart is very important to God. We can hide nothing from God. If you really want to enter heaven, open your spirit to the Spirit of God. Not religion. |

In the Christian faith, there is no such thing as automatic Christian. Meaning no one is born a Christian. My children are biblically not Christians yet until they consciensciously accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10).
They do not have the Spirit of God in them yet. But when they invite Christ into their hearts, the Spirit of God enters them and make them Christians. Born again. It is also called becoming a new person. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; OLD things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW" (2 Corinthians 5:17). You see, the Christian faith is a relationship with God, before it is a religion. God loves us and He wants to fellowship with us from the heart. If the heart is wrong, no amount of religious works and even so-called good works will not please God. Love in the heart. God wants to show His love to the world through the hearts of His loving children. That is why a genuine Christian CAN NEVER BECOME A TERRORIST (never in a million years). With God's love in the heart, we are able to love our enemies and even forgive them. God will reward such loving hearts in heaven someday. |

"If you really want to enter heaven, open your spirit to the Spirit of God. Not religion" and Christianity is not a religion?
"Christian CAN NEVER BECOME A TERRORIST" What do you call the soldiers who are shooting innocent people including kids and abusing human beings in prisons. Let me guess, they are not what you call "Genuine Christians" Every Christian Know in the US seem to support the wrong doings of the us army in Iraq. I wonder how you spiritually can justify that maybe the genuine Christians are hopeless even though they voted for Bush who called for war against humanity.

Hi Simple, appreciate your probing questions. Before we move on, let me ask you a question: Why do you (and many Muslims) assume that All Americans are Christians?
If there is a car accident, I don't blame the car manufacturer. I will try see how the driver committed errors --- or if someone hit him. A few overzealous soldiers does not represent the Christian faith. The action of an individual does not necessarily represent Christianity. Terrorism is carried out by people who have deep hatred in the heart, and who has no concern for the lives of innocent people. The Bible teaches that even harboring hatred itself is like being a murderer in the eyes of God. Therefore God will deal with any Christian who begin to nurture hatred. The Holy Spirit will keep convicting him until he confesses and get over it. That's why I said a genuine Christian can never be a terrorist. |

Opening to the Spirit of God.
You see, I can go to church every sunday, give tithes faithfully, fast 40 days a year, help the poor, feed the hungry, avoid pork and wine, volunteer for church activities, etc,etc,etc..... I may be the most religious person in the world, but if I do not have the Spirit of God in my heart, God will not let me into heaven. I am still not a child of God. My religious activities does not make me a Christian. I become a Christian ONLY WHEN I AM BORN AGAIN. Becoming a child of God begins with RELATIONSHIP, not religion. After that I can call God "Father" and talk with Him daily in my prayers. And listen to Him talk to me through His Spirit speaking to my spirit. That's how we learn the will of God -- Inshaallah. And if my heart is going wrong, the Spirit of God will tell me right away, that's how my life is dealt with. Relationship. Beautiful. In Revelation Jesus said, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says..." Simple, the Holy Spirit speaks to me and gives me advice. For people who have not experienced the Spirit of God, they will not understand. And you know what God is telling the folks here at Morroco.com? He says, "I love you; I love you more than you can understand." |

Maybe muslims feel the same way? A genuine muslim can never be a terrorist. How about that?
So wasn't Timothy mcVeigh a born again christian? And what's his name in Waco again, where the Feds <not to be mistaken with Fedex> had to barge in? I guess they were just disturbed people heh But at least they weren't disturbed muslims phewwwwwwSo Thé, what's your agenda? |

Hey Ma_li_Ka, glad you asked. No, Timothy McVeigh was not a Christian. I am sad for him because he went to hell. Horrible as his acts was, God gave him another chance but he did not take it. McVeigh refused to repent and accept the Lord before he died.
(Oh the guy at Waco, Texas.... David Koresh... he's a waco, a demon-possessed man. Deceived by the devil and caused great harm to others). What is my agenda? I have no agenda. I come here because the Spirit of God nudges me to come and share what's on my heart. Now you may think I am here to evangelize. You know what? (please don't get mad for saying this) God is trying to speak to the people here one-on-one. Not because on the day of judgment he can say, "I told you so". But because you are His creation and He deeply cares for humanity. |
