WHAT IS HELL?

Hell is simply the world of the death -- a place where the spirits of all death people go.

In Hebrew it is called Sheol; in Greek, Hades.

DEATH. Except for two characters in the Bible, Enoch (Idrissi) and Elijah, every human born of woman has been subject to death. Because God warned Adam and Eve and they failed and brought sin into the world.

Forget the debate about ORIGINAL SIN. Muslims or Christians, all people die: proof that the punishment for sin is upon us all.

The Bible says that the last enemy a believer in Christ faces is death. Jesus raised people from the death. He Himself proved His power over death by His death and resurrection.

So for a Christian, death is a graduation. We defeat death because we resurrect with Christ after death. As for those who are not in Christ, when they die they enter hell, which is the world of the death.

In hell there is no boiling water to drink. The lake of fire is a figurative term to mean there is suffering in hell. I'll explain next time. The fastest way to get to hell is commit suicide.

Its funny how you say that you dont want to debate and yet you preach something which is contrary to the Islamic belief concerning Jesus(AS).

Muslims believe that Jesus peace be upon him according to the Holy Quran is a wonderful, humble, generous messenger of God who came down and revealed God's words to his people, the people of Israel. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is God, nor they believe that God ever chose to come down to earth in a form of a man to die for our sins to purify us and forgive us.

According to Islam, Jesus never died on the cross, nor ever wanted to die on the cross, nor ever was born to die on the cross. The Holy Quran rejects this idea, and claims that it is a false one. Jesus never died on the cross, nor he ever died for anyone's sins.

Let's look at verse 4:156-159
'That they rejected Faith; That they uttered against Mary A grave false charge; That they said (in boast): 'We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah.'But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. Nay, Allah raised him up Unto Himself; and Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise. And there is none of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (Jesus)Before his death; And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be a witness Against them."

"O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say Of Allah ought but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) A Messenger of Allah, And His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and the Spirit proceeding From Him: so believe In Allah and His Messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: It will be better for you: For Allah is One God: Glory to Him: (Far Exalted is He) above Having a son. To Him (Allah) Belong all things in the heavens And on earth. And enough Is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. (4:171-172)

Sometimes the word 'hell' connotes two meaning.

1. Gehena -- the hinnom valley where refuse/trash are burn and there is always fire and smoke. Indicating some form of punishment -- "where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:43-44).

2. Hades, where all departed spirits go. Prior to the resurrection of Christ, all the OT saints lived there. Jesus went there and received them to heaven (Acts 2:27,31). Jesus holds the key to Hades (Revelation 1:18); so unless He opens it no one can get out of there. (Ephesians 4:8-10; Colossians 2:15).

A believer has been shown the world of the death. He says very wicked people are directly send to Gehena; but others are allowed to reside in Hades to await what type of community they will be sent -- because, the fair judgment of God will determine that those with less sins will not be lumped together with the rest.

Billions of people are in the spirit world. There is a world out there that we humans cannot see.

I am not sure how well you know your Greek Mythology,but Hades is the ancient Greek underworld,which means that is an added addition to Christianity.Gehenna is more the original Judaic underworld.

if jesus son of mary was a god that dies and resurect and preach love and condamn hate ..
why in the world would it be hell or jehaana or jehhanam is in arabic !!
that man son of righteous women came to warn you about jehenna and hell !
