letter of introduction out of Morocco

Does anyone know anything about the letter of introduction needed for a Moroccan to use for their visa for a holiday in the UK? Or where to find out about it. I have a Moroccan friend who I would like to comne and see the UK for a short holiday but do not know what is needed in the letter.

Hi Rona, I recentlly sent a Moroccan friend such a letter of invitation in order for him to apply for a visitors visa. The letter we wrote just stated that we would like him to come to the UK for a holiday as our guest. It's helpful to mention an intininery of some sort. Also proof that you have enough funds to cover his stay as your guest. Our friend made an appointment online with the embassy, he took all the required papers and had to go back a week later for the result.

We have just heard he has been granted his visa and is hoping to come and stay in a couple of weeks. If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to send me a message.

The information you sent me is exactly what I wanted to Know! Thats great. I hope your visitor has a great stay, just wondering how long they are coming for? About 2 weeks sounds good....

No we just said anytime this summer, and left it to our friend to sort dates out to his convenience. He is coming to stay for 2 weeks.
