Not too bad Faress. I try not to use curses but once in awhile I slip.
Nice to know you are taking care of yourself. I walk now. I walk one hour most days and do a few little exercises just to be flexible.

It is nice you have a holiday with friends. And one more thing I do not know anything about most holy days of Islam. If you can let me know.

Assalamu 3alaykum ,Rosa ,This is the Great day where Allah swt tried Abraham peace be upon him and his little family ,Ishmael and Hajar ,He Abraham saw a dream that he is slaughtering his son ishmael ,a prophet vision is not a regular man's vision ,it becomes a command .now Abraham told his son about it,and Ishmael told his dad ,obey the command, later Allah swt replaced Ishmael by a sheep from heaven.and that is why we All celebrate this great event by the pilgrim and the sheep .I 'm sure you can do more reasearch about it.and you should know.
as for my exercises ,I agree with you that walking ,Amazignly can be for some better than exercises ..why do no lol
this guys that I spend some time with ,are diverse Arabic nationalities,it is sad that there are no places for the youth and families in here to speand time, like us or morocco.even if they have money and cars,in fact that is what they can do is noise with cars ,but what after ?I tried to socialize with this young fellas, and i 'm not disapointed at all ,but i can not hide how discriminated they are and how their rights are abused and many in this country Qatar ,where the greatest channel Al Jazeera shows no news about it?and how it gets the first place in human rights ....I DENOUNCE THIS BAD LIE.
It is a small country where rich people gamble big time with the poorest ones .any way .freedom of speech is not so wanted in here.but what can we do ,it is what the world want .Arabs spreading their legs for the world to use them.
I tell them ,well that Time is counted ,shame that so many countrues defends values and human rights ,but when there is money and oil and gaz ,they conceal everything that is going on.for the benefit ?

Enough said .I'm back.......

Witchqueen do you not find the term B***h derogatory as a woman.! I realise benben's sense of humour is off the wall, but he is an intelligent man he should be aware when posts may cause offence to others.

Benben, it's nice to see you are back. I find your post always interesting...for various reasons. I think you just like to stir things up. Not always a bad thing in itself.

Thank You Both

Thank Faress and Arwen for information about Islamic holy days. I did look up Islamic Holiday decorations and found out that Eid al Adha is a holiday when muslims get sheep. I saw there was a drive to give a dollar so people could get their sheep. I think this is for reinaction of Abraham killing the sheep as an offering because his son was pardoned. This women told information on the Internet and said the symbol of course is the Crescent and Star. I guess you could have porcelin sheep in an Islamic collection to symbolize Eid al Adha.
I thank Faress for his reply. The pigrimage to Mecca I have seen coverage on the news. I believe there is the stoning of the devil. I will look up more information about this when I can.

About Faress poster. It was not vulgar. It was cute and funny and he let us know he is back which is nice. He seems to find things and is very clever.

Best Wishes for Eid al Adha to all Muslims here and Happy Thanksgiving to all. My desk calendar at work lists Muslim holidays and Holy Days.

regards information.

You are very welcome Witchqueen, although the accuracy may not be correct.

Yes Benben, is interesting and I'm sure he is very clever.....I think he can be a bit naughty at times as he likes stirring things up....maybe I should send him a wooden spoon then he could stir to his hearts content.

Here we are, for benben, these are examples of welsh love spoons (don't get any ideas mind) These spoons were traditionally carved by a man to give to his fiancee. Some of them are really quite beautiful and very intricate. As spoons go pretty useless tho.
