The United Nations and Security Council=WORTHLESS

I just want to know the real purpose of this one organisation located in New York City that goes by the name: The United nations. This one worthless organisation has a little branch called the Security Council that has 5 permanent members made up by the world's 5 most powerful countries to include the United States and 5 voted countries that hold the position for one year. There hasn't been one time that this Security Council under its binding Chapter Vll resolutions voted against the general interest of one of the 5 permanent members and these 5 countries respected that decision(not one time). When the Security Coucil voted against the war in Iraq. The U.S still went to war. When recently the coucil voted for an immediate cease fire and end the Zionist violence in Gaza, Israel(which is also referred to as the United States of America as i consider Israel nothing but a geaographical extension of the U.S in the middle East). Israel of course disregarded this decision and continued its strikes. The United Nations is only good for imposing sanctions on the Muslim world i.e Iraq/Sudan/Iran/lybia. Its ironic to see that when the resolutions are against the Muslim countries and in favor of inhibiting their economical and military and scientific growth, the council magically proves it self effective because the United States usually follows up with military action to insure the reliance of these resolutions. The United Nations is a big and nice building that can be put to better commercial or residential use and save the world from the bull$hit and lies. History also showed that every past United nation's Secretary General is an equivlant of a U.S Secretary of State and the 2 positions should be the same because the UN Secretary does nothing but represent the U.S.

I have to agree with your statement. Resolutions are voted on and yet they are not honored. It makes you think what is the sense. Seeing things like this saddens me too.

I receive e-mails and newsletters about the situations in Gazza and I try to be supportive by signing petetions and reading the news . I do not back everything the government in America does. You can't here.

I receive newsletters form Anera which is an organization that works in Gaza. Avazz and the One organizations protest. And I have received other petitions demanding a cease-fire.

I also agree to the both of you. Actually, I'm currently writing my thesis that concerns the issue of redeployment of peacekeeping operations of UN. We don't see any point why there needs to be a second deployment when in the first place, their goal is to keep peace. By using the Chapters of the UN Charter, they manage to justify their deeds-which are very ironic.

South Africa

Mr Ricky, are you a South African. Are you a dark African or a white South African? I would like to know. The only South Africans I know of from the Tv are the golf people. Let us know what it is like where you are from. Good Luck with your studies.

I agree UN Has not been effective & they are biased towards US. But its not true that they dont support Muslim countries. They have not done anything to stop Pakistan , not even after their president and P.M confessed to the world about the terrorist activities done in Pakistan under the eyes and support of ISI & Pakistan millitary at Sharm-Al-Shiekh in recently concluded met of 115 nations
This dosent mean that things have evened out.

As a human being there shudnt be bias towards terror attacks done by nations of similar religion.
