Hi all, i wasnt sure where to put this so i apologize if its in the wrong place.... my story/problem is rather long so ill compact it as much as i can...

Im 25, english (arabic ancestry down the line, but born in uk, so where my parents, and non-religious).... i study the middle east, belly dancing, astronomy and spanish.... i moved to spain in 2004, where i met a great guy who happened to be moroccan, although he had lived in spain since he was a small child..... his family had all lived in spain for 20+ years, and ran a family business, so it was not a case of 'visa' love, lol!..... he was also 25.
We had a year long rship, that was great, i stayed at his (parents) house (not whilst they were there though!) and met numerous friends family members...
But he often brought up the fact that he was saddened because he knew he couldnt marry me, as him being the oldest of 5 brothers, i got the sense he had alot of pressure on his shoulders to set an example to the younger ones.. i avoided these conversations because marriage was the furthest thing from my mind!
About a year into the rship, i fell pregnant... which caused a great deal of panic for both of us, and a huge amount of stress for him, but also brought us both closer together, but a 4 months i miscarried and it was a mixture of feelings for both of us.....
After another year i abruptly returned to the uk, i guess i really distanced myself from him bcos i knew it couldnt go anywhere, so for 2 years, we had no contact, then last month i returned to spain to visit my old home, and very oddly and crazily coincidential, we bumped into each other.... and it was an amazing feeling to see him again, not at all what i expected!.... he went on to tell me he drove past my house every week hoping i had returned, and that he couldnt or wouldnt have forgotten me, unfortunately, i saw him on the day i was returning to the uk, so we didnt get to meet up.. but i am going back in february for a few weeks, my problem is.... i dont know whether i should meet him and follow my heart, my head and my common sense knows it will end in heartbreak, but when 2 people have such a connection it is difficult to ignore it... being a non-religious english woman, are his family ever likely to accept me?? and can these kind of rships ever get over the religion hurdle?.... even though im not religious, i have studied religions and am quite knowledgable on Islam and morocco, im also a belly dancer so i have an interest in their culture, but would this be enough?
Any advice is appreciated .... thanks
