Moroccan Fishing industry

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? My fiance got a job on a fishing boat and left rather suddenly on 07th August. Now I have no idea when to expect him back and am at the moment tearing my hair out. He has been gone 4 weeks today and I can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone. I had begun to think he had done a runner, but his father assures me that he is working on the boat. Last week his father finally told me that he was expecting him to be gone for a month, this was after asking him numerous times.....I'm very very anxious now, as my parents are going out to Morocco in 2 weeks to meet him and his family. Does anyone have any idea about these fishing trips?
