Angry This is carzy

Peñón de Alhucemas, or "Lavender Rock", is one of the Spanish enclaves in North Africa off the Moroccan coast, along with the coastal enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla, the island of Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera, Islas Chafarinas, and the small uninhabited island called Isla Perejil. Peñón de Alhucemas and the islets of "Isla de Mar" and "Isla de Tierra" slightly to the west form the Alhucemas Islands. They are located 300 m (984 feet) off the Moroccan town of Al Hoceima or Alhucemas (former Villa Sanjurjo), 146 km (96 mi) east of Ceuta and 84 km (62 mi) west of Melilla. The rock of Peñón de Alhucemas is a tiny island, 70 m by 50 m (230 feet by 165) in dimension, 27 m (88 feet) high. The rock is entirely occupied by a fort, several houses, and a church. Isla de Mar is a flat, 4 m (12 feet) high islet. Isla de Tierra is a steep, 11 m (33 feet) high rocky platform. Spanish rule dates back to 1559, when several territories belonging to the Saadi Dynasty were given to Spain in exchange for help in defending it against Ottoman armies. In 1673, Spain sent a garrison to the island of Peñón de Alhucemas, and it has been permanently occupied since. Today, the fort which is built on it hosts a 60 man Spanish military garrison. The islands are also located near the landing place used by the Spanish and French expeditionary forces in 1925, during the Rif War. Spanish sovereignty over the islands has been contested by Morocco since its independence in 1956, but as the island is not mentioned in Morocco's Independency Text, it is still considered to be legally Spanish.

Reading those facts makes me wanna eat my guts out in frustration. Morocco only has balls in beating on the poor and stealing from the working man. But we can't face the disturbing facts that a piece of land so close to us has to be taken by Spain. how can we not own an Island that is only a couple hundred meters off the coast? we have to watch the Spanish ripping it right off our hands. It's like the neighbor from accross the street parking in your drive way, and you aint got $hit to say about it. Can we grow some balls and do something. Or we only have those balls that we use to f***c our own people with.

You know what! Never_mind!!...never mind
Obviously you never tasted island living, i live in Sardinia Italy and it's absolutely gorgeous living on an island, especially in the Med and these Islands(not Island) we re talking about are in the Med too. When a country has an Island it brings boating traffic and tourism...that equals big $$$ in revenue to the economy, also when you have an island you need to establish ways of transportation and ferrying which puts a country one step closer to development and recognition. I agree that MOrocco is far from being ready to own an Island because of our slow economic and social progress, our coastal monitoring systems are stone age if they even do exist. but nonetheless ***c the Spanish.

What do you think St Pierre is? An appartment building?
It's of a different size than the lavender rock.

An island in the Med sea is not so profitable nowadays, since it is the most polluted sea on this planet. And we are not even talking about an island, but a rock I am really sorry, khoya, but I fail to see the necessity to be patriotic about a rock.
