George Clooney in Darfur, Sudan
Gorege has arrived yesterday in Darfur, Sudan. He is there to observe the situation and campaign for help for Darfur.
He said that Darfur genocide is the first in the 21st century.. and that the American people and the world population must know about this.. The Arab Janjawid militia, supported by Khartum, commited genocide against the non-Arab population in Darfur before the African Union and the United Nations decided to intervene and stop the genocide.
